Food was more tasty the last time we went 2 years ago. Not a fan of the strawberry bisque. Scones were a bit dry. Otherwise, food was okay. Just not as memorable as last time.

Lovely folks, quirky atmosphere, immense teaoffering and tea knowledge. Food was not first rate: stodgy scones, overdecorated desert offerings . A tiny casserole of meat and potato, and the strawberry soup starter were delicious exceptions!

I went with my sister in law and niece. We lived the decor. I spent about fifteen minutes just wandering and enjoying the extraordinary collection of items, trinkets, artwork, whimsical pieces. The server was outstanding. They were knowledgeable and friendly, willing to answer questions and provide stories and insights. It was so fun to have our own teapots and cups. The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed our savory strawberry soup. The scones with clotted cream, heavenly. We had to save our desserts, which was a treat for later. Such a get away for good company and conversation. I can’t wait to go again.

Very nice workers & cute place. Loved the chilled strawberry soup & sandwiches. Scones were a little dry and hard but everything was good overall. The teas are the best!

The Clockwork Rose Tea Emorium is an excellent place to go for a special event. I took my wife there for her birthday, and we both loved it. The building itself is so unique. It's packed with marvelous curios, candelabras made out of teacups, lots of clocks, no two of which have the same style or time, and all sorts of other odd things. There is a menu of 30 or so teas to choose from. We loved the Portland Rain, a very fruity variety. The appetizer, a tomato bisque soup was very tasty, as were the savory treats, four small sandwiches, a tiny quiche and tiny pot pie. The 2 scones were delicious. We're sure the small desserts must be fine as well, but we couldn't finish them and boxed them up for later. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for High Tea.
