   I am the granddaughter, Shay. The food was outstanding. I was able to try so many new foods. The place looked amazing. 🤩. The service was great I could raise my hand and someone would come immediately. I really recommend going.

   This is our second afternoon tea experience and it was as amazing as the first. It is one of our favourite teas worldwide. The service is impeccable- Paul, Priath, and Bimal were all excellent. We had Paul previously and will ask for him each time we are there. They were attentive- Paul changed our plates after sandwiches, and Priath brought hot water refills twice. They also offered us extra sandwiches and were friendly. The food is simply the best. The quality and freshness of the sandwiches is the best in Toronto. The chicken coronation sandwiches are substantial as are the roast beef and lobster rolls. One person had the egg sandwich and others had squash. The tomato tart was a really wonderful flavour and just a little different from the sandwiches. The scones were plain and cranberry with a lovely berry jam and Devonshire clotted cream and butter. The tea list is not extensive but is adequate and the tea includes a mocktail or glass of sparkling rose. The tea is loose leaf but in a bag which is nice because you don’t clutter the table with strainers. The presentation was modern tiered. The desserts were so good that we had to take some home. They packaged our leftovers with care. The flavours and uniqueness of the sandwiches and desserts along with the service, setting and background live piano playing makes this our go to special occasion tea. Kudos to the Fairmont for such a wonderful experience and friendly staff. The hostess even came around offering to take group pictures for us and others. My only suggestion would be that one to two hours of complimentary parking should be included for the $120 pp price. The bill didn’t have any extras or hidden charges and gratuity was at your discretion. Overall just divine!

   We visited for the Valentine’s Day experience but left disappointed. Our tea took an unusually long time to arrive—we had already finished our scones and waited quite a while before it was finally served. The selection of teas was also quite limited compared to other places, and I was disappointed that they used tea bags instead of loose-leaf tea. Additionally, the service was slow when it came to refilling our hot water. One of the biggest letdowns was the absence of clotted cream, which is a staple for afternoon tea. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations. We spent $270 for 2 people

   Delicious tea, wished it was hotter and they poured your first cup. Some of the bread could be fresher.

    Wonderful experience! We ordered the vegan tea and the service was incredible. Excellent tea and delicious vegan alternatives for the sandwiches and sweets. Highly recommended!
