Coal Town Public House is a modern American grill located in the heart of Westhaven Town Center. Our diverse menu is comprised of elevated and unique takes on American cuisine, as well as a full service bar boasting a wide array of wine, beer and craft cocktails. The restaurant features a lush interior with high ceilings, stylish fixtures and plenty of natural light. Nestled against Magli Green, our retractable garage doors open completely to let in the sun, fresh air and views of the lake. The Public House will set the scene for you to enjoy a truly memorable dining experience with friends and family!

This place was so cute!!! I tried the dole whip mimosa they had and I wanted about 17 more!!! Tasted the pizza with potato and bacon … that is sooooo good. My date had the salmon burger and also said it was delicious!! Everyone was super friendly, I would recommend !

After we got our water, it took 10 minutes before the waiter came by again to take our order. We ordered salmon and pizza as our entrees. After the salmon came out for myself, it was about another 15 minutes before the pizza arrived for my wife. The waiter then brought us the wrong check at the end. Throughout the night, the waiter was serving tables all across the restaurant and pouring drinks at the bar. Will not be going here again.

Busy Saturday night so the place was packed! We were seated for our reservation right away and quickly greeted, our server was awesome but did not catch her name! She had great recommendations and helped us navigate the menu as first time guests! The meatballs were a pretty average starter, good flavor but a little cold, seemed like they had been sitting awhile before being served. My Hanger Steak was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri was a great pairing! My mom got one of the pizzas and it was nice and light, great flavor! Overall the food was just above average, service was great, and the environment was bustling and busy! If you are looking for a good spot to drink and eat with friends and get a little rowdy, this is the place!

The calamari app was light and tasty. We also had the ahi tuna starter, which was just okay. The Focaccia with whipped truffle ricotta was a table favorite! The main dishes were all great, from the salmon burger to the shrimp and grits... the kid also loved the mac and cheese with fresh strawberries.

A++ brunch on a Sunday in March! Chloe was our server and she was lovely! The manager stopped by (always appreciated), and the hostess was equally as friendly and delightful! The food was delicious and the restaurant itself is super cute! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant - just note, the portion sizes! Ours were huge - totally shareable! I'd give this restaurant a 10/10!

Walking in was easy and the hostess was fantastic. The menu looked good, so we didn’t get the pizza. Boy were we fooled. The food was NOT fresh. Basically, our dishes tasted reheated from earlier in the week. Little to no flavor. Our server was good, until we were served dinner, then she disappeared (there were 4 other tables, between multiple wait staff). Won’t be returning - what a disappointment.
