I visited with a friend for brunch and it was pretty fantastic. I had the breakfast sandwich that was quite tasty and some kind of signature sauce that was pretty great. The potatoes were crisp and delicious. The service was mostly great. Definitely friendly, maybe not always on time, but no real complaints. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The second time we went here & it was great, AGAIN!! The only different thing we did this time, was to order the "stacked frittatas" for an appetizer, along with the whipped boursin toast. "A GREAT COMBO!" Laura and I, both had the same orders as the last go around. The spicy chicken salad for her & the shrimp & grits for me. The food was even better than the last time.. The surroundings are laid back, & Lauren & the staff are great. This spot will definitely be "COMMON GROUND, FOR US!!" 😉😋

We had a fantastic server! I don’t think we got his name, but he has long dark hair and wore a gold chain (that I complimented him on). He is an absolute gem! We loved our food and my drink was great!

Common Ground is the rare neighborhood bistro restaurant in Nashville. We went with a range of ages and preferences and there was something for everyone on the menu. Not too crowded, not too loud, not too fussy. It’s been a great option for brunch and lunch. Don’t miss the side of smashed fingerling potatoes dipped in common ground sauce!

The atmosphere was nice, with great music, that was @ a perfect volume. @ least for Sunday brunch. The waiter/server Taylor, was great from seating us to us leaving. This place has more "in house made" items than not 😋! The amount of food & prices are awesome! **The "whipped bourin toast" is a must!** I had the shrimp & grits, which was spot on with the texture of the grits, the cook of the egg, the perfect shrimp & the creamy sauce. My wife, had the spicy chicken salad, & she cleaned her plate, which doesn't happen often! The carrot cake, is scrumptious, ty so much for that complimentary dessert, Taylor & common ground crew 👊🏼👍🏼. COMMON GROUND is definitely a repeat for us!
