Very unpleasant experience overall. Had reservations… they had a short wait for us.. no problem. Finally seated and it was at least 20 minutes before the server approached us. We order right away. We were there just 10 minutes shy of 3 hours!!!! By now I’m starving, my steak was cold but the plate was hot… obviously sitting under the light until someone got around to bringing out food.

My husband and I chose to celebrate our 37th anniversary with community brew and tap and we are so happy we did. From the staff to the food, everything was excellent. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious food and wine. We were seated at the table where we could view the kitchen - it was fun to see the food preparation. Lovely evening.

Our friends had told us about what a great experience they have had at community tap and brew. I thought the food and presentation was very good, but I thought the service was lacking. I don’t want to take away from our server. She was good, but it seemed like we had to Wait a long time for our food service. Initially, we did not get drinks or bread service in a timely fashion.

CB&T continues to provide excellent food and we have had excellent service in the past. However, last Saturday (12/14/24 was an exception. Our son and his girlfriend were visiting from out of town. We planned a Christmas celebration at CBT. Our plans were soured starting with a 30 minute wait for our 7:15 RESERVATION. We weren’t the only ones waiting as all bar seating was taken and the standing room was packed to the door. The flummoxed host apologized and said they had two large parties upstairs. When we were finally seated, we waited at least 10 minutes for a server to take our drink orders and at least another 15 minutes for drinks. Service was incredibly slow but the apologies kept coming because of the “large parties” upstairs. Note to management: If you can’t handle the customers, you don’t accept reservations. Maybe you should have limited your service to the parties since you apparently did not have the servers or bartenders to handle the downstairs customers. We felt like we were the afterthought to the upstairs elite. Our server apologized and gave us Proseccos as we waited. And waited. The food was excellent but we were there for a total of three hours. At this food price point, you do not have slow service. I do not blame the servers. Management overbooked. This was unconscionable. Our tab was $420.00. The server was not to blame. But I blame management for ruining our evening. I will go back as the food is excellent, but will wait a while until the bitterness of the evening leaves. My takeaway. 1. Make your reservation at the first seating. 2. Do not go on weekends. 3. Never ever go during the holiday period. We made reservations more than a week in advance. I would rather have been turned down than wait so long for service.

Sweety Drop peppers are a toxic member of the nightshade family high in solanacae and alkaloids. My daughter had a double reaction to tasting the Branzino containing these berries (taste more like tomatoes) due to the Egyptian dukka. She has a nut allergy that was conveyed to the server, and we left right after that. I ate 3 of the berries and ½ the fish, was sick as a dog the whole next morning , and am recovering still this afternoon. I really should've done more research before making reservations. And honestly, nightshade alkaloids are poisonous to everybody.

There was a large party in the restaurant. It was at least 45 minutes before we received our food. The steaks were way too salty and were cold. We were also seated next to a table that had young children that were very noisy. The whole experience was not good!
