   This spot is a true gem. The restaurant is beautiful; ambience is perfection; and the food is AMAZING. The service is a bit slow, but the staff is very kind and accommodating. Recommend HIGHLY!

   They add on a 21% tip on the taxed value without giving any notice in advance. Great place just lacking in service in that regard

   We arrived 5 minutes early for our reservation. The restaurant was slow and had many open tables. The hostess rudely interrupted me while I was telling her my name and told me I would wait till our reservation time and to sit at the bar. We were only 5 minutes early and a table of 2. After five minutes we walked back up to the hostess stand she stood on the other side and stared at her watch until she was ready to seat us. The service was slow and the server barely spoke. I never complain or write reviews. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. We drove from Collierville to go there. What a waste of time and money. The food was very overpriced and portions were tiny. The fish sandwich was all bread. No sauce…: I asked for mayo they brought it 15 minutes later. It was just bad. The food took forever to come out. Never again.

   It was NYE and it is a hotel bar so….but I was hoping for more. They did accommodate a number change in guests, which was nice; however I had to call 4 times to make it happen. Once the manager figured out our service was super slow, he did jump in and help-kudos to him. Our waitress was not at fault, she was delightful. I don’t know if it was a bar problem or kitchen problem, but there was a problem. The food-which was a pre fixe menu for NYE was average. It was not terrible, and we were there with friends to bring in the New Year and had a great time. I’m just not sure why I would go back

   The Prix fixe menu was fantastic! The charcuterie board was plentiful, the appetizer (avacado and brie) was wonderful, and the main dish (beef wellington) was phenomenal!!! Desert was good, but not fantastic.

    Went for New Years Eve dinner. Service was outstanding, food was delicious. Smaller restaurant in hotel so noise level was quiet and relaxing. Would absolutely recommend Complicated Pilgrim and can’t wait to go back.
