The classic cocktail culture of New York City is revived at this all-day gastro lounge, located inside The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park. Contour is expressed in the fluid, Matisse-inspired lines that adorn the ceiling; the easy, steady flow of drinks, energy and conversation; and the experience itself, which transforms throughout the day. Small plates showcase locally sourced ingredients, and cocktails, in their preparation and presentation, are beautifully refined. The social rhythm of the city and Matisse-inspired design is weaved through Contour’s three spaces including a marble bar and two unique lounge spaces.

The food was fresh and delicious. Service was inattentive and frustrating. There were enough servers who could do a better job. We had dinner and breakfast there. Very few customers in restaurant both times. The hotel Ritz-Carlton was amazing w great service. The restaurant could have a huge clientele given the location. I hope they train the servers better!

The servers could have been more attentive …I was concerned as an African American woman I had to wait until a white patron flagged a server over to assist me…I expect more of the Ritz Carlton..

We came to this restaurant for my niece’s 24th birthday celebration. The food here was absolutely amazing! The service was exceptional. The best lobster roll I have ever had and I’ve eaten a lot. My niece said her steak was the best filet she’s ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing ambiance. Lounge, bar and dining area offer great options for any occasion. Filet Mignon Sliders were tender and delicious. Party of 5 all loved their meal, dessert and cocktails. Excellent service too. A true upscale experience totally worth the Ritz price.
