Welcome to Contrast Brasserie. With a sharp focus on Scottish, locally sourced produce, we invite you to savour the tastes of the season with a touch of Pan-Asian flair.

From succulent rare breed pork, prime dry-aged beef to market fresh fruit and vegetables we try to stay true to our Scottish roots, creating simple dishes built around one great ingredient. Located just a short walk from the City Centre of Inverness, take a wander along the tree lined river where a warm welcome awaits!

    Been many times great spot for visiting the Theatre service always good as is the food but note prices have risen and with completion of equal quality but less pricey in the vicinity they might want to visit that.

    Starters were excellent, mains weren’t great and service was ok to begin with but became less attentive towards the end of our lunch i.e, we asked for a kids desert menu but never received it even although the restaurant was very quiet by this point.

    Pre theatre menu was unbelievable. If you think it’s a lesser menu, then think again. Mains of duck leg and seabass were up there with the best food I’ve ever tasted. Then it’s the turn of desserts, my wife’s cheesecake was incredible. £68 for two courses and two drinks each was fantastic value. Last mention to the staff, attentive and funny.

    Hyped up to be this exceptional meal and looked forward to this dinner as our “special” dinner out. Hate to say, but was rather disappointed. Ambience of the restaurant was dated and dull. Wait staff were overall pleasant. Plates that came out were just ok, the lamb was the best dish, followed by the dessert. The pasta and pork were disappointing. Overall we did not feel like we received the value hoped for with this restaurant.
