Overpriced for frozen food. Appetizer came without items listed on menu. Restaurant claims farm to table. More like freezer to table

Our experience was EXTREMELY disappointing. I’ve never left a negative review before but I feel like I need to. It is a 4 course experience with your pick of entrée. The entrées were either $55 or $75, which seemed high for the choices. Our starter board was completely missing 3 dips and when I inquired I was only brought one (store bought hummus) and was told that they were out of the others. We chose the chicken ($75) and the Mushroom Risotto ($55) entrées. The chicken was just a thigh and a leg. And the Mushroom risotto was just plain quinoa with a ring of mushrooms pieces on top. It was nothing near anything that could be labeled a risotto. I couldn’t eat it. I could go on, but to sum up the experience we were constantly sold one expectation and they constantly came up short or with something completely different. My husband and I left feeling scammed. Nothing was as it was advertised and we left having spent $200 with our meal, the tip, and a drink. Absolutely not worth the experience. Sure, it’s a uniquely decorated restaurant that seems to thrive on the “experience” but the food is straight up awful.

This was my second time there. The first time I was with a large group and the service was also terrible, but I chalked it up to being a large group and maybe they weren’t used to it. Every time I’ve been there’s not been anyone to greet and there’s no clear place to go, you have to hunt someone down inside to try and get seated. We were sat outside (with a reservation), then when it started raining we were told we couldn’t move and “the rain should stop soon”- tables were open inside. Then we get our food what seemed forever later, started pouring and we finally were allowed to sit under an awning to eat. The high chair they offer is literally falling apart (no I’m not being dramatic) and super unsafe. We kindly brought this up to an employee (no we aren’t Karen’s but a baby is going to get hurt and they may get in legal trouble!) we were told “well, we try to keep things esthetic” service overall was just very poor. The first time I ate there the blueberry thing was completely burnt on the bottom. The umbrellas outside are covered in mold/mildew. Great idea overall and I wanted to love it, but poorly poorly executed.

Overall, not the best experience. Our food wasn’t great. It tasted okay, but was cold and the choices for the main entree (roasted chicken or pot roast) just didn’t seem to match the high price tag. The service was very slow that evening. Also, the restaurant isn’t well equipped for small children with one very small bathroom that has no changing area, and we were given an antique wooden high chair that had no seatbelt and had broken spindles on the back which proved to be a safety issue. I probably wouldn’t recommend it to others.

The performer was amazing. I wish I had asked him his name. He played the guitar and sand 70’s music. The food was really good but I wasn’t expecting $75 a person. This should be more clear on open table. I was fine paying that but not sure my group was. The waitress was even embarrassed stating the cost. She kind of said it under her breath. Only three choices for an entree. Pot roast, chicken, and shepherds pie. These are not choices I would typically make.

We went for brunch and it was a really cool experience! The concept of no menu scared me, but the brunch board was AMAZING, with so many great foods that was enough for our whole table. The service was impeccable and everyone there was so nice. The atmosphere was awesome and it felt like you were at home. Definitely a cool place to check out.
