Had dinner at Coopers Hawk in Ashburn the Saturday evening before the Commanders-Lions playoff game. Very crowded and noisy - the tasting bar was packed. We were seated right around the corner from the lobby so it was hard to have a conversation. Food was not as delicious as it had been on previous visits. Prices have increased too.

It was my mother and I’s first time at Coopers Hawke. She loved it! The service was great even while being as busy as they were. Our server was very pleasant and nice. Would definitely be coming back!

I ordered the pistachio-crusted grouper and it wasn’t that appetizing. The fish seemed slightly under-cooked, and the accompanying asparagus was tough, bitter and colorless. We had the chicken potstickers as an appetizer and they weren’t very warm by the time they made it to the table. Our server was very nice and did his best to keep up with all his tables, given the business of the usual Saturday night crowd.

Our server Damian was very nice, but I don’t know if he or the kitchen was the problem tonight. We waited very long for bread and we never got our Brussels appetizer! Then the check was totally wrong …. Our dishes were delicious but maybe the kitchen got off to a slow start tonight? Not sure … just a little disappointing

We have gone to Coopers Hawk in Ashburn many times but recently the food quality has been less then good. Our meal last night was really bad. The pasta dish was over cooked and the steak on the salad had no flavor and was very fatty and undercooked. This is the third time in the last few visits that the food was not good. It's too bad as it used to be a good place to go. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
