After making a reservation well in advance of our date, we were told the wait for our reserved table would be an hour! Where is the value in a reservation then? Luckily we found a table in the bar which was NOT what we had hoped for for our 3 guests’ first visit to Cooper’s Hawk.

Coopers Hawk was the perfect place for our annual Best Friends Christmas Happy Hour. Attentive service from all staff members who helped us, great food and beverage selections, and terrific atmosphere. Brennan took great care of us. He is very knowledgeable about the wine and the menu, and checked on us often. Definitely going back to Coopers Hawk!

Reservation for 0830pm didn't get sat down until close to 0930pm. Didn't order food until about 0945pm food never came waiter came by said our food was mistakenly delivered somewhere else they said they would comp our meals by this time it was close to 1030pm we opted to just leave and not eat. They need to learn how to operate a restaurant. Very dissatisfied! Will be calling the GM soon.

Was overall pretty good except being seated an hour after our reservations. At 8 pm we were told our reservation would be ready at scheduled time of 815. We were not seated until after 9. Our waitress had no real knowledge of wine being a wine bar???

I cannot say my experience was positive. The place was way over booked and many people we're leaving after waiting a long time past their reservations. We we're seated 45min past our reservation which ultimately made us late for tickets we purchased. The worst part was the time it took for food and the quality. The attention to detail here is pretty low. Despite having 630 reservations. We we're seated at 713. We immediately ordered appetizers and we didn't get dinner until 810. Worst my rare medallions were medium well. I left them whole on the plate and the waiter didn't say a thing. My lobster was over cooked (rubber) and my wife's grouper was over cooked. Overall this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in Kansas City.

The waiting are was overly crowded and the host station was hard to hear when names were called. The person leading us to our table did not know where our table was and lead us all around the restaurant. When we were seated at the correct table the host stopped at a dirty table pointing us to ours and we had to move chairs out of the way to get to it. The potato’s weren’t cooked all the way through but the rest of our meal including appetizer was wonderful. The server was amazing and really had great menu choices and one of the reasons we will try again.

They were so BUSY. Granted it is the holidays. We had a hiccup with our food coming to us cold. But the manager stepped up and really took good care of us. I would absolutely recommend but maybe not on such a busy night for us. Excellent customer service.
