WE RESERVED THANKSGIVING BRUNCH AT THE COPPER SPIRITS. sAW RESTO WITH GREAT VIEWS, HOWEVER IT WAS CLOSED. sO SURPRISED AND DISAPPOINTED OPEN TABLE DID NOT KNOW. aTE DOWN AT GROUND LEVEL BASIC BREAKFAST MENU. WAITERS HAD NO RESERVATION FOR US. THEY WERE KIND, HELPFUL AND GENEROUS.

If I could give it less then 1 star I would. We were excited to try this place based on the photos of the view so we decided to go for our anniversary, but the experience was absolutely horrible we were blown away. Got up and left before even ordering drinks or food as it was embarrassingly bad. Was blown away to see somewhere with an environment and feeling of a dive bar calling themselves semi formal and trying to charge 20+ per drink. Nothing better then getting dressed up for an anniversary to be sat in a random corner with zero light that reeks like propane, and watching other guests wearing Duraqs, spray painted clothing and pants around they’re knees considered semi formal. Definitely will not be back was literally a joke.

Very nice view, great for a few drinks and light eating. Being able to see the sunset is fantastic. Would not pick for a real meal with friends or relatives because the menu is limited.

Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere was incredible, the views beautiful, and the staff were amazing at understanding the needs of their tables. Was able to have the quiet uninterrupted night I needed while still feeling surrounded by people, and it’s all thanks to my server Anthony! First time there, and it certainly won’t be my last! Has become a go to spot when I’m in Ottawa!
