I'm sorry you didn't feel you received a good value. We feel it is important to support our local economy as much as possible which is why we choose to source our ingredients from our local farms. This means our menu rotates frequently as it is streamlined with the seasons. Our pricing is in line with other establishments sourcing locally and providing livable wages, but we understand this may not be at the forefront to everone who dines with us. Also with the seasons comes a rotation of our wines by the glass, so we have to cater to what is in demand during any given season to avoid wastefully opening bottles that won't fully sell. Thanks anyway for giving us a try.

    - Slow service - Waited 30 minutes for dessert and ended up canceling but I had paid already, which was refunded - Manager lacked concern and didn’t even come over at first - When he finally did, he apologized but only offered $10 off next time and still didn’t get my dessert and by this time I was just ready to go home - I eat at a minimum of 8 restaurants a month in Fort Wayne and have eaten here before but I may not return

I am very sorry we got backed up on desserts. That station was unmanned due to an emergency surgery yesterday, and while we all stepped in to try and help, the short-handedness slowed us down there. I am the owner, and I was the one who visited your table offering my apologies. I hope that your past experiences with us were a better indicator of the service we pride ourselves upon, and while we are never "fast" due to being fully scratch from fresh ingredients, that is far too long to wait for a dessert, and I regret that your dinner ended on that note. I do hope you will visit again so we can win you back! Thanks for your feedback.

Very nice restaurant/bar. “Book” of cocktail & wine choices given to choose from. Food was also delicious with our steaks done perfectly. Will definitely return the next time I’m in Ft. Wayne.

Amazing service! Can’t say enough of the attentiveness and professionalism. Had the whiskey sour, balanced and shaken with the perfect amount of egg white foam. Started with the whipped feta loved the sweet heat balance and flaked salt on the crostini. Enjoyed the swordfish! Perfectly grilled and balanced nicely with the cream corn. Not a fan of the salsa, but admittedly not a fan of raw onions. Definitely will be back.

Loved Ricardo!! Super knowledgeable. Very attentive. He recommended my first drink of the evening (a Clover Club), and I absolutely loved it! The food was wonderful, and our table was probably the best in the house. The olives and feta were delicious, and the bread was warm and soft. We all had a bite of each other's meals, and everything was amazing. The steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The swordfish was tender and incredibly flavorful. The desserts were also wonderful! We tried the chocolate cake (super rich, but the whipped cream on the side balanced it perfectly) and the crème brûlée (delicious, but also pretty boozy). Best birthday dinner to date!

Restaurant happened to be short staffed when we were there which meant service was slow. Overall, the food was very good but the options were mediocre. Our server was kind and attentive, but talked quite quickly for us to understand completely for being a Wednesday night. Overall great establishment, food has promise, drinks were good, but I don’t know that I’ll come back. Updated response. Clarified response above. Food was good but options were mediocre. Three of us had appetizers, we had the Marinated Olives, Chicken Wings, Smutty Fries and I had the Steak Tartare(which was quite good in it’s own) not sure on the crosscut chips for that, might better pair with something a little more we’ll equipped to handle the weight of the Tatare. Smutty fries were very good and potatoes were fried perfectly. Wings had great flavor but not as meaty as I prefer a wing to have. Olives were what one would expect, good flavor and variety. I had not been to the establishment since it was wine down and I wanted to try it so I had certain expectations. It was quite different and in the many options now downtown the competition is definitely fierce. I’m sure I’m in the minority when I say in my personal opinion, it was just good not great.

I apologize for the slow service. We had a record setting Wednesday night as we served several large parties including a 50 top, 20 top, and 16 top during your visit. While we are grateful for these busy nights, we never want it to hinder someone's experience. With your server being bi-lingual, I can understand the need to have him slow down a bit, and I will speak with him about this. As for the food being mediocre, that is not our typical feedback, so I am hoping you can share what you ordered and where it needs improvement to earn the 5 stars that we strive for. Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to your additional feedback.

Food is always delicious and our cocktails were perfection. The server was a bit lacking compared to past visits, but still pretty good. Our cocktails sat empty while he walked by a few times and we had to wave him down, which is not how service typically is at this type of restaurant. It was not too busy.
