   I recently dined at Cocquette for Mother’s Day, and while there were many standout aspects, the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by poor service. Let’s start with the positives: the food was absolutely delicious. Truly, kudos to the chef for crafting such flavorful and well-executed dishes. Every bite reflected care and creativity. The ambience is also worth mentioning – chic, modern, and fashion-forward, with a lively energy that adds to the appeal. It was a bit on the louder side, but still managed to feel sophisticated and stylish. Now, the downside: service. I understand the pressure of a busy holiday, but our server consistently missed the mark. She forgot to put in our drink orders, delayed the side dish until well into the meal (which arrived cold and soggy), and only brought the glass of wine at the very end—right as we were finishing our food. She even blamed the bartender, though it was clear he was not overwhelmed. Overall, it felt like she wasn’t present or attentive, which sadly diminished the experience. One more note about the restroom: while the design is unique, the faucet was installed poorly, making it difficult to use and messy. Water splashed everywhere, and there were no paper towels—just a bunch of already-used cloth ones. Definitely something that needs a rethink. In short, Cocquette has so much potential. The food and atmosphere are top-notch, but the service and attention to detail need improvement to match the level of the cuisine. I’d consider returning—just not on a busy holiday.

   Phenomenal food as always… The charcuterie board was on point as well as the cocktails. Our server, Francesca, delivered exceptional service. We will definitely be back.

   One of the best meals in charlotte. Every bite was delicious and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend the tomato tart and sole fish. The French fries are also delicious.

   Greetly very warmly and seated at a 2 person table right next to another 2-person table and that might be my only critique of the night....so close to the other table! The space is beautiful, chairs are comfortable and the patio looked nice too. Our server, Lanie C, was wonderful. She gave us time to peruse the menu, answered all my questions about menu items and ingredients and check on us as we received each course. She also read our mind and asked, "do you want pommes frites too?" of course we do! We enjoyed our cocktails (French 75s of course!), charcuterie, salads, and fries. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy dessert - but that just gives me an excuse to come back!

   Hands down my favorite place to lunch Uptown. Beautiful spaces inside and a lovely patio really set the tone. Food is thoughtfully prepared and presented, and always delicious. These folks love what they do and it shows!

   Requested a specific table and specific server, and these unfortunately could not be honored, and this has happened previously. Additionally, service while good, it was slow and I think this was due to staffing. Still a favorite restaurant, but please ensure service stays a priority.

    We had a wonderful experience today at Coquette for a birthday celebration. My chefs special of mushroom tart was outstanding. My husband had omelet and said best he ever had. Our guest had French Kiss oysters and loved them also the ham sandwich and frittes were outstanding. Best cappuccino also. Francesca was our waitress and made the experience so fabulous!
