Acclaimed Sicilian Chef Accursio Lota serves up authentic cuisine in a cozy 60's-style Italian trattoria. Voted San Diego's Best Chef five years in a row, and Barilla’s World Pasta Champion, at Cori Trattoria Chef Lota serves up beautifully bold dishes like Agnolotti with Spring Peas and Beef Bone Marrow, and an unbelievably rich Vegan Parmigiana di Melanzane. The menu melds the flavors of Sicily and Italy with the best of fresh, locally-sourced Southern California ingredients, and is matched by a curated wine list and cocktail program that include indigenous, bio-dynamic varietals from all Italy.

The current Spring menu features dishes like Agnolotti with Spring Peas, fava bean, and beef bone marrow, and Cacio e Pepe with sustainably-sourced Petrovich caviar.

Very quaint and novel Italian restaurant. Really great service, perfect wine choices and fair prices. The food highlights were the Fried Smelts which were delicious and the bruschetta was different and tasty. The seafood carbonara eas good... wish it had more seafood. The lasagna was not as firm as I have had in Italy. The flavor was good but the texture needed to be more firm for me. Overall a good experience.

If you want an excellent Italian dinner with outstanding choices, this is the place. From the welcome afforded upon entering until you leave, you will feel like the most important diner. The chef takes what can often be bland (octopus and branzino) and turns them into tasty delights. If you have the opportunity, you should go here at least once - to start!!

Our experience was amazing and we had the sweetest anniversary. We were greeted with a signed card and gifted a glass of bubbles to toast to our anniversary. We also loved the food and just got back from Italy and felt it was very homemade and authentic.

There are a lot of Italian restaurants in San Diego, but this is perhaps one of the best ones I have recently discovered! The flavor and presentation of these dishes were amazing! The service was also incredible, our server was amazing, things were brought to us in a. Timely manner and she made fabulous recommendations! 10/10 would HIGHLY reccomend!

First time and will go back! Great SERVICE and good food! The Arancini and focaccia are excellent. Squid ink ditalini seafood dish is wonderful! We enjoyed time with friends in this very comfy atmosphere.

This was our first time dining here and it won’t be our last! The food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. Perhaps the best pasta I’ve ever had. The appetizers and salad we had were amazing. And the dessert! The lemon dessert is my new favorite. Exceptional service as well.

The place makes you feel like you are back in Italy in a little trattoria. The food is amazing with all the pastas made fresh, we had the boar ragú papardelle which is a must and also leave room for the tiramisu

We had an excellent experience for our anniversary dinner. We were greeted with glasses of champagne. The focaccia with eggplant caponata and carpaccio were wonderful starters. For our mains, we had the agnolotti with braised beef short ribs and the lasagna. Both were delicious. We will return soon to try more items on the menu.
