Cork & Gabel, a restaurant fusion of Irish, Italian, and German cuisine, opened in 2018 in Detroit's Corktown district. We are known for our use of modern techniques on old school classics. European comfort food is a staple at Cork & Gabel. We pride ourselves on being a scratch kitchen, sourcing and using Michigan vendors including farmers and small business. Fresh is key when it comes to providing a great experience and we make everything we can fresh and in house.

    One of our favorite casual restaurants. Nice menu, although I was surprised they would not do a "build your own" omelet. Have always had excellent service. Everyone is very friendly. Took a walk through the train station after lunch and it made for a nice day!

    Our go to place for family events. Brunch was great and my son wants everyone to know the chicken wings were also excellent.

    Amazing place. The location is perfect and the building is filled with history. The food is outstanding, service incredible, super fast, and overall great place. We will most certainly be back and spread the word!

    Great value, delicious food. Would be great to have a least a few printed menus on hand for seniors, and vegan options (or mention that some plates can be made vegan). Will return!

    Great food in a cool and hip ambience for a fair price. Brunch for 5, including mimosas was just over $110! Would have rated 5-stars except for the hostess who did not speak. Arrived 20 minutes early for our Open Table reservation but she made no effort to communicate with us or seat us before the reservation time.
