Subject: Feedback on Menu Discrepancy Dear OpenTable Team, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent dining experience that may be helpful for your service. My husband and I visited a restaurant specifically because he was craving their ribs, which we saw listed on the OpenTable menu. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the menu had changed significantly, and the ribs were no longer available. This has been an ongoing issue for us, as this is not the first time we've encountered discrepancies between the OpenTable listings and the actual menu. I would recommend ensuring that restaurant menus and prices are kept up to date on your platform, as this would enhance the overall user experience. In the future, we plan to check the restaurant's official website for the latest information before making reservations. Despite this setback, we did enjoy a lovely first course of fresh oysters, a glass of wine, and some Japanese bread, which came to over $50. The manager was very accommodating, which encouraged us to stay for our meal. We ended up going to another restaurant for our main and dessert, and that experience turned out quite well. Thank you for considering my feedback, and I hope it helps improve the service. Best regards, Shenny

This was a horrible decision to go to for my Fiancée birthday. First, we arrived early, about 10 or 15 mins, and our table was not ready. However, the restaurant was not packed at all. Only the wait staff was dressed to match the atmosphere of the art. Everyone else must just work part-time based on their attire. The service was flavorless and basic and fell so short that a fast food chain restaurant could teach these individuals how to do their job accurately. The old-fashioned outlook of not addressing everyone at the table except who is perceived as the paying customer is shameful. The atmosphere with artwork surrounding us was beautiful, and unfortunately, it was the presence of staff members who could care less about the quality of service that is provided to guests. I wanted to provide a lovely dinner and instead I was dealt a evening that involved 5 different *Bottles of wine* (all of which are over a $100 a piece, per bottle not by the glass) being out of inventory, yet not removed from their menu and a set of Japanese Milk Bread being served to us as we are leaving. Literally, after we asked the check and for our food to be boxed and remove the bread since it was not up to par, then we were sent another bread that was still not satisfactory. I wonder if the reviews on this place was just due to the customer, since to the appearance of the establishment and I am very regretful that I did not take heed to their mentioning of bad customer service. It's a pity that beautiful artwork and atmosphere at the mercy of people who are no better than a McDonald's Ice Cream machine operator, aka unreliable, and lacks more than words in this post describe. The unprofessionalism, the attire of management and bartender, the inability to serve dishes properly in such a setting. Whomever owes this place really should invest in their front of house staff and inform the chef that salt and pepper are not the main/only ingredients in fish dishes.

Food was OK and service was mediocre. Really hated that you have to go one flight of stairs up to use the restroom. Meh.

The ambiance and presentation were very good. However, the food was not nearly as good as the presentation. Very pricey restaurant, with sub-par food. We had the beet and pear salad, Caesar salad, scallops, ribeye, and the caramel tart. The scallops were good. The ribeye was over cooked and had very little taste. The Caesar salad was very good. It had actual anchovies on top. The caramel tart tasted like it was purchased at a discount in the freezer section of a grocery store. The crust was hard and burned. The “caramel” tart did not taste like caramel at all. It tasted very bland, kind of like nothing. There was a squiggle of what tasted like sour cream served with this “dessert”. It was just weird.

The dining experience was wonderful! Ginger our waiter was very good in explaining the menu and answering our questions. The food was phenomenal! I had the scallops and my husband got the pork chop. Also we had the Beet Burrato for our appetizer which was so delicious! The only downside to the restaurant was our bar experience while waiting for our dinner time. The bartender was very nice but very slow and seemed to be reading off something while he fixed drinks. I felt he needed help!

Pleasant service and a cool, metal but earthy ambience. Enjoyed the 21C art upstairs as well. Fantastic oysters and all food was deliciously and easily digested.

We had several delicious appetizers, the fish of the day and amazing cocktails. The fish was cooked perfectly with a delightful light sauce. Every bite was delicious and worth taking the time to savor slowly. Our waiter was so kind and helpful as we asked a lot more of questions about ingredients we had never heard of. Cant wait to go back!

What a lovely dining experience - delicious dinner at Courting House - this restaurant brings a unique experience to Durham. The head chef and menu recently changed. Classics still on the menu with some new changes. This hotel is one of the best parts of the 21c hotel. The staff was truly fantastic - the food delicious and fresh. Also great cocktails and good wine on the menu. Definitely give the Cava a try! Will be back sometime for sure

Brunch today was an "experience." -Waited more than 50 minutes for our orders after inquiring twice. (The restaurant was nearly empty with just three other tables being served. -two order of eggs on Bisquits arrived ice cold and with soggy Bisquits. They were returned to us in the same fashion after being sent back to the kitchen.) -the waiter was MIA. Only refilled our coffee once in 50 min and that was after hunting him down. Was not available at all to ask where our food was. Finally after contacting the manager, did she offer to bring out some monkey bread and offer a concession with our check. This was incredibly disappointing morning as we were celebrating a special occasion. Having dined here previously, I can only say today's experience was was not consistent with our previous positive ones. That said, we will think twice about returning as something seems to be askew with the kitchen and wait staff. Kudos to the manager for stepping up today.

We went to the Counting House for a birthday celebration. Great ambiance! Excellent service from Ginger who was training a new employee. Ginger was quite knowledgeable! We had three different varieties of oysters as our appetizers. I enjoyed my main course as did my partner who got the ribeye. Highly recommend!
