Love the interior design. It’s simply beautiful. We ordered a scallops and spicy tuna from the menu. Both were decent but unremarkable. We are cocktail people and on this point, Bar Kamon disappoints. It was our second time. The drinks are interesting in concept but boring in execution. We thought our first time was a fluke and gave it a second chance. It wasn’t a fluke. Just uninspired, unbalanced cocktails.

Delicious drinks and tasty food. We tried the Umeboshi Sour, Midnight Train to Shinjuku, Trash Panda and Hojichi Negroni. Our favorites were umeboshi Sour and Trash Panda.

They were super accommodating to our party even though we arrived a little late due to extremely heavy traffic. We were quickly seated and the service and was spectacular. There was no wow factor or surprises but ambience is very nice and although very small the noise level was never too loud. The cocktails were great I enjoyed all the ones I had and so did my friends. The food though was pretty average in presentation and taste. The menu definitely has a good variety. Overall I enjoyed our time and would recommend. Will be back when I’m in SD.

Super cool crafted cocktails, and excellent food. There were three of us and we were prepared to spend a lot more money and enjoy the evening a little more but when we hit the 90 minute mark, they came over and told us that our time was up totally sucked because we would’ve spent a few more hundred dollars.

I’ve had this spot on my list for a while! Had cocktail hour with a friend, everything was amazing! We arrived right when they opened at 5:30, so it was very quiet when we got there. By the time we left, it was full and still at a nice noise level. I gad the clarified jungle bird with ube foam and the tuna tostada. Delicious! Amadeus was our server and he provided impeccable service!
