The Art Gallery Restaurant, Crafted by Matt Moran, provides a unique dining experience in one of Sydney’s most stunning dining rooms. Reflecting Moran’s signature style, the restaurant showcases locally sourced produce and premium Australian meat and seafood through a light, Mediterranean-inspired menu guided by the seasons. The drinks menu features an all-Australian wine list as well as Champagne, cocktails, beers, ciders and a substantial non-alcoholic offering. The restaurant is operated in partnership with the Gallery’s culinary advisor, Matt Moran, who works with food and beverage partner The Fresh Collective to execute his vision.

Credit card details are collected solely for our no-show policy, and payment for the lunch package and any beverages is due at the conclusion of your meal. One ticket per person, member discounts are not applicable.

Our $99 per person share menu is in place for all groups of 8 guests or more with a 10% gratuity applicable to your final bill. A divine experience on the 1st April celebrating the life of my Dad after his passing on this day at the beginning of Covid . I cant recommend Crafted by Matt Moran highly enough. The food was divine, the sparkling wine was perfectly chilled, the service was faultless and the view of where we scattered Dad's ashes in 2023 brought our family great happiness on a day that is usually sad for families when remembering a loved one who has passed away. Our waiter, Henry, was so cheery and helpful and recommended perfect mains for us. The seared tuna over pasta is sublime - no wonder it's a signature dish ! The lightly battered flathead fillets were generously proportioned and tasted fresh from the sea. Our only negative to what was a perfect lunch was that we had no room for desserts!! This WILL be remedied on our next visit which we expect will be very soon ! Thank you, also, to the staff who assisted with Mums wheelchair arrangements. This was very much appreciated and it's fantastic that a ramp is available for wheelchair access into the restaurant! I have absolutely no hesitation recommending Crafted by Matt Moran for a special occasion or just because you're visiting the gallery and feel like truly sensational food with matching service!

Very skilled chefs ; food is beautifully prepared and served. Fish was perfectly cooked in a complex pesto sauce with fennel. Service was exceptional. View is sensational looking down to Garden Island and the harbour

The venue is exceptional and certainly on this occasion the food and the service matched the location. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly. The food came in perfect timing and was wonderful. We were delighted with our experience there.

On arriving staff were very helpful to get a superb table. The food was delicious. Only the noise/ambience was very loud as the time went on. Not the restaurants issue. My wife and I loved the time. Thank you.
