   This was a terrific spot with a beautiful view. We had a reservation on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. The food was delicious and service was great.

   Probably the worst place we've eaten at in Sedona. We made reservations on OpenTable and we were seated right by the kitchen where the food comes out and everyone has to walk by to get to the outside patio areas: people being sat, busers, servers, etc. They were not even busy at all. It was the winter off season. Plenty of seating in the bar and patio. They didn't even ask us if we wanted inside or out. The bruschetta was awful. It comes with 3 pieces of toast but only 2 slices of prosciutto which they cook to a crisp and have on the side. A good Prosciutto should never be cooked. The sheer volume of balsamic used made it almost inedible. I could only get through one piece. The rest of the dinner was bland and boring. Not worth the prices. Then the peach cobbler came with a completely massive about of whipped cream from a can and it came so fast after ordering, the only way it could have been heated was in a microwave. Maybe the food can be overlooked in the summer if you really really need a view while you eat.... but the food itself is overpriced, bland, and tastes worse than a chain like Applebee's or Chile's. Avoid this place. Seeing as how we were so close to the kitchen and food coming out, we could hear the servers and cooks speaking Spanish. It was actually the only enjoyable part because my husband and I happen to be learning Spanish, so we spent much of the night translating to ourselves... but the reality is, we got the worst table in the house!!

   Over all great experience food, service was exceptional. What needs to be addressed is n/a beer, wine and moc tails. Odouls, Becks, Henikein or some fruity kid drinks don’t cut it today. I just turned 70 and have drank enough booze to float a battleship and I’m done! Tonight will be another chef Mercers restaurants the Mesa. Made a decision to start bringing my own if a restaurant doesn’t carry it or discourage me from bringing in my own. I will find another place or go home as I’m an outstanding chef as well. It appears the world has changed to accommodate non drinking and “soberish” adults.

   Severely disappointed in our experience. Joe at front desk was charming and sat us quickly. All downhill from there. Brie soup was borderline broken, lukewarm and flavorless (damn good mini croissant, though.) “Sole” in phyllo dough was largely a white fish fillet - not sole - fried and slathered with over salted caper sauce. No evidence of phyllo, unless perhaps breading was somehow phyllo related? Doubtful. I had an unpleasant exchange with our server after the restaurant was unable to pour one of their expensive bourbon offerings; I will spare you the lengthy details but let’s just say the customer did not come first. We were psyched for a great dinner after Grand Canyon visit and this did not deliver in any way.

   We were seated at a table by the kitchen door and the door outside. The staff banged and kicked the kitchen doors entering and leaving and it was cold every time they opened the outside door. There were other tables available. our waitress was knowledgeable and had great suggestions. But the food???? Chicken with asparagus was lukewarm warm and the fish in philo dough was burnt on the bottom. The peach cobbler was fine but nothing to write home .

    We ordered 4 different items to share and all of them were delicious! We ate more than we should've because we couldn't resist having just one more bite! Absolutely wonderful!
