Crossroads refines the Los Angeles dining scene, and is helmed by culinary trailblazer, Chef Tal Ronnen. Highlighting small plate dining with a Mediterranean influence, Crossroads features the cuisine that Ronnen is famous for; beautifully presented plant based dishes that are flavorful and innovative. A rotating selection of custom-made libations, artisanal small batch spirits, and a thoughtfully crafted wine list complement the fare. The imaginative and ever-changing menu with dishes approached with a conscience manner, is inspired by seasonal Southern California ingredients.

We love Crossroads. It’s our weekly dining experience. The service is incredible and friendly. Food quality is consistently good. Many great menu options. Always our favorite place for plant based dining. The staff and management are top notch!! Highly recommend.

Great service, a couple incredible dishes, and a couple disappointing dishes—one that we were not charged for. I highly recommend the stuffed zucchini blossoms, the spicy rigatoni vodka, and the Caesar salad. I do not recommend the calamari or the cacio de pepe.

The food has dramatically gone downhill since I was there a few years ago. The outside area has zero ambience and the service was slow. Won’t be coming back again.

Dishes and drinks were served out of order (salads before cocktails?) and our server had to be reminded to bring requested items, also never noticed that only one of our second round of drinks were served. She also charged us for two bottles of water when only one was ordered. The food was, and always is delicious, but the indifferent service by our waitress was a bit of a downer.

I’ll admit—I’m not the target audience for this place. I’m a meat lover, let’s just get that out of the way. But shouldn’t that make me even more excited to try it? I was hoping the flavors would surprise me, that they’d make me appreciate vegetables in a whole new way, that the ingredients would prove meat isn’t necessary. Well… boy, was I wrong. I’ll give credit where it’s due—the (three, very small) squash blossoms were pretty tasty. But the price? Lord. For what they cost, there should’ve been at least four or five. Then came my cocktail—the “East” something-or-other gin drink. Sounded refreshing: gin, mint, cucumber… and “fire bitters.” Well, holy hell. I didn’t realize that last part meant I’d be drinking something so spicy I could barely breathe. Now, the worst part—the “steak” and potatoes. I really wanted this to be good. But it had no flavor. Just a balsamic-glazed mushroom. No salt, no pepper, nothing—just a mushy mushroom drowning in balsamic. And the “truffle” potatoes? No truffle flavor at all. Plus, they wouldn’t allow substitutions, so I just handed them off to my wife. Overall, the food lacked any real flavor, and we ended up leaving and grabbing dinner up the street. Kudos to those who love this place, but for us? It’s a hard no.

We were a little late. They were fine with it, and got us a great table. Eric Manuel was our server. He had great timing and took good care of us. Nice sense of humor a bonus. Management was also attentive. Of course, the food was amazing as usual. Looking forward to returning, though sad that Calabasas store is closed. Will be back.
