From our arrival: •25min the customers at the next table shared their bottle of water with us •35min order taken •40min we got our own water •55min do not have the juice we ordered, asked what else we want with no menu, no knowledge of available products and absolutely no ability to propose an option or solution until I asked for the menu back •75min entrée served - $26 for 4 small cubes of pork belly, beautiful sauce, no crisping of the fat tasted gross •80min main served - still eating entrée, while main went cold - steak requested med rare, arrive med well. $8 Truffle mash tasted like Deb mash. Salmon tasted great, but 1 piece of brocolini, 1 baby carrot, 2 beans was the total steamed veg Side note: • We then waited 20 minutes to pay $150 for this experience • Every staff member we spoke to about our concerns said oh sorry no options to resolve issues or offers tī replace dishes • The food flavours were nice, but portions would barely have satisfied a child. • Front of house was disorganised, slow and chaotic, no care for customer's experience at all, nor awareness of disappointment and disgust on all their customers faces • Back of house could've helped, but tables weren't numbered and they had no idea were to deliver to, so stood and waited for table servers while food got cold. As a former employee of Intercontinental Hotels Group, having worked for them in 3 countries at 8 properties (including Crown Plaza Perth) I am horrified at the complete disregard for customer service, and inability of any employee to resolve issues.

Don’t mind paying extra for food but restaurant management/owners need to understand that charging more means service and food have to also be good. The served food at Gusti is not fresh and does not seem to be made by a qualified chef. The worst was the management of the waiting staff. The waiters had no clue who ordered what and which waiter works in what section. Everyones food was late. Few people in my section got annoyed and left before getting any food. My local pub has better service and food for cheaper.

Sadly not a great first experience. I ordered the sample plate as I wanted the pork and squid. They were both awful but I ate the olives, one arincini and one bruschetta….lucky as I was going to order the pork bites and squid entrees to nibble as a main! My husband’s prawn linguine was lovely. It took 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive but 15 for dinner so by the time the drinks came we were quite tired and ready to go and didn’t have much space for the drinks. The gracing board/sampler had fountain bbq crackers, two slabs of tasty cheese what seemed like frozen squid pieces, not so crispy but rather rubbery pork bites, olives, arincini (not bad) mini bruschetta (saved the dish), garlic bread and salad garnish and overall unappealing. I could hear a lot of patrons complaining about their drinks too and one person got a glass of ice but hadn’t received the drink to go with it. Not too sure what was going on but the waitresses looked confused and but were doing their best.

Most disappointing. Staff disinterested. Waiter knocked fork off our table. Picked it up and put it aside. Did not replace it. Had the fish and chips. Generous serve of very greasy battered fish. Decent chips. OK salad. Would not recommend.

Service very poor and inattentive. Waited at the sign to be seated but no one came. Eventually came inside and after a few minutes of standing there finally got acknowledged. (Saw other groups leave after not being seen.) The one other group in the restaurant was very loud and we couldn't hear ourselves speak. Food was great but drinks hard to come by as no one came near us. When our mains arrived someone spent about 20 minutes painfully dragging tables and chairs around the restaurant in the most teeth jarringly way possible. Absolutely unbelievable! Once we finished mains we were hoping for another drink or some dessert but there was just no one. We waiting almost 30 minutes and then gave up. Disappointing.

Food was nice enough, but the menu was a bit limited. Size of portions were good Value was OK The location has a nice view of the river probably best enjoyed on a balmy night. Given it is a hotel lobby restaurant probably pretty good

Lovely venue and outlook. Service was good - Marc was very attentive. Meal beautiful. Evening spoilt by two obnoxious loud Females at another table. No manners at all.
