The Cuervo family welcomes you to enjoy their most treasured values, savor homemade recipes from our family, who has spent centuries in the tequila brewing and the food & beverage industry, or enjoy the exquisite creations from the masterful Chef Roberto Gallardo, Charlie Trotter’s former sous chef, featuring gourmet dining with Mexican flair, all with our hallmark of warm hospitality; and last but not least, enjoy unique Tequila Tasting Experiences with Jorge Cuervo, Master Tequilier and descendent of the founder.

Our family is original from Tequila, Jalisco, best known as being the birthplace of the drink that bears its name, “tequila”. Our passion for this industry starts with Don Jose Antonio Cuervo, the founder of the Tequila. Nowadays 220 years after, part of the family still produces tequila, but Jorge Cuervo took after his father, Don Malaquías Cuervo, who expertise in the culinary arts inspired by his ancestor's deep knowledge of the authentic Mexican cuisine.

This experience exceeded expectations! It was the highlight of our trip. Jorge & his staff are knowledgeable, entertaining and extremely passionate about ensuring your experience is memorable. Jorge is highly educated in tequila & his knowledge isn’t persuasive towards one type of tequila, he is there to teach you about it so you have the knowledge to form your own opinions based upon your individual preference! This was well worth it and I’d highly recommend it to everyone!

We had the best time learning about tequila and the food was so delicious! This is our second time doing it as a group and we will be back next year! Highly recommend making this a priority when you visit San Jose Del Cabo

Jorge and his team were amazing! The food was some of the best we had in Cabo. The setting is intimate with only a few tables available (which we loved). Everyone was extremely kind and accommodating. We will definitely return and for food and tequila tasting!

We found this restaurant almost on accident on Trip Advisor….they had an 8 pm reservation for our party of 4. We were greeted by the owner Joel and we were The only people at the restaurant as 8 pm is their last reservation. From the start Joel Was awesome, he is a proud owner and took the time to explain not only the menu but the history of it. Every item that we ordered felt like it was made by a family member to be served to a family member like it was a Sunday dinner. Do yourself a favor and order the candied Shrimp, just phenomenal. We were introduced to Joel’s wife who took us the rest of the way through dinner as Joel is a master tequila professor who’s true passion is Tequila. He teaches classes in tequila that will blow you away. One of the best dinners we have ever had in the area. Do yourself a favor and dine here, you will not be disappointed.

This experience left both my husband and I feeling so blessed! We arrived and it was as though we were enveloped in the family. Jorge's expertise, affability and charm are umatched. With a foodie's dream menu as well as any tasters dream. We learned history, family ties and sampled the best Tequila. I feel better prepared when I now look for a "good" Tequila, what that means. Thank you Jorge and Claudia for an unmatched experience. Definitely would highly recommend 5 stars! If you are in San jose, Cabo it is a must visit for restaurant authentic cooking and Tequila tasting

My wife and I did the tequila tasting experience with Jorge Cuervo, which came with four tequilas, one dessert drink, and small bites in between tequilas. We learned a lot about the types of tequila, the history of the product, and the history of the Cuervo family. They even provided my wife and I with a small heart-shaped cake for our anniversary. This was a very fun and tasty experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the San Jose del Cabo area. Thanks, Jorge and staff, for a very memorable experience!!

We learned all about the history of Jose Cuervo’s family and Mexican tequila. Jorge Cuervo was very gracious, the food was delicious, and we tasted about 15 high quality tequilas and mezcals. This was a 5 star experience.

The quaint little restaurant has great ambiance and a staff that cares about the experience. Jorge Cuervo's approach to tequila education is refreshing. Not trying to sell you something but giving you the information to make very informed decisions about what you like and picking quality based on your taste. The Mexican dinner was very good. Tequila tasting was great. Would recommend to anyone looking for a more personal/private experience.
