   5:45 reservation, ordered Calamari appetizer and told it wouldn’t be ready until 6:45. Ordered $69 ribeye and asked what sides came with it and was told none. I asked if other entrees had sides and they said yes some, like salmon, chicken, meatballs, and hamburgers came with side, but not $69 steak. I asked for a manager that confirmed their high priced steaks had no sides but $25-30 entrees did. I ended up with a $19 hamburger and fries. I told manager if they considered this fine dining in Frankfort they would not be there long. She later came by and said she would give us a desert since the Calamari was not available. I wonder about the logic of not offering me a $9 side that would have sold a $69 steak and likely resulted in a happy and repeat customer. We left around 7:20 and half the tables were empty even though we tried for a 7:00 table and they said no tables after 5:45 until 7:30. Hardly any others came in during that time even with many empty tables. Lovely place, good location and had high expectations that were blown off by poor management and service.

   Nice facility, if all tables were all filled the room noise level could be high. We dined early so the noise level was low. Food was good.

   Great spot for brunch with friends. Food and cocktails were amazing and staff was attentive. Atmosphere is lovely as well. Beautiful restoration of an old vacant property.

   Drinks at the bar were great. I had the Salmon which came out a little lukewarm. Wished it had tasted as good as it looked. My husband had the cod fish. It was just okay. Nothing we would reorder. The star of the meal was the sweet potato cheesecake. Not to be missed. It was unique and delicious with a glass of champagne.

   Beautiful restaurant! We were in Frankfort for vacation, celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. He chose the restaurant by reviewing the menu. Our dinners were amazing, excellent flavors, and very fresh. The cod was prepared quite well, as were the filet chicken and meatball entree. The desserts were also quite good! The service was slow, but we learned later they recently opened. I'm sure once they work the bugs out, it will be even better! A very nice addition to the downtown area

   Our server was also bartender....she did a great job waiting our table way across the room. Water glass never empty! Food was good but not exceptional. Decor lovely restored building!

   My hubby and I enjoy eating at nice venues from Indiana, Louisville, Georgetown, Lexington, Versailles, Frankfort. Cypress & Oak is the best .The food is amazing. I got the cast iron Cod and he got the NY Strip. So many flavors 😋 my taste buds was happy. The restaurant is beautiful 😍 . The open kitchen is nice to see the food get put together. The drink from the bar was perfect, the bartender 👌. We will definitely make this a place to eat at often.
