Da Andrea Restaurant is a locally-owned and operated, it is a Northern Italian restaurant in the heart of West Village, New York City that has been around for more than two decades.

Da Andrea offers traditional Italian cuisine, regional specialties, seasonal dishes, an extensive wine selection and craft cocktails for our guests to enjoy. The restaurant's specialty is homemade, handcrafted fresh pasta, which we have perfected since we have opened. The chefs also offer delicious homemade entrees and risotto that are made with fresh, local ingredients, that use traditional Italian recipes. I had the penne mellanzana. It was tasty and the penne was cooked al dente (nice) but there was no mellanaza to speak of. If I got on piece 1cm big, that was a lot. $26 for a plate of penne was silly. Four people with 2 glasses of wine came to $300 with tip. Was not worth it.

Absolutely amazing food, we will be back. The area was beautiful, and the Italian food was very authentic. Drinks were also delicious, everything came out in a timely manner, and served hot!

We had a late reservation (10pm) and when we arrived the restaurant was packed and lively. Very attentive waiters and the food was so very good! Worth it!

I arrived on time but my date was a little late. Host was absolutely awesome. Waited at the bar. Host got us a great table when we were ready. Fully packed. Service was fantastic, Food came out so fast I thought they knew what the order was before I ordered it! Overall a very nice experience, highly recommend!
