   Our experience at Dakota’s was outstanding from start to finish! The service, food and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding! I highly recommend Dakota’s for anyone who wants to enjoy a quality evening out!

   This was our first time dining at Dakota’s. We arrived on time for our reservation, but they were backed up and directed us to sit either at the bar or outside the restaurant in a quasi basement hallway that led to the elevator. After waiting 20min past our reservation, they sat us in the side dining room past the piano. The piano music was very nice, but the dining room was chilly and my chair was so close to the wall that I had to squeeze around the arm to sit down. It felt like I was trapped. The food was good. Everything was prepared properly and the fillet was very tender. The service was quite slow and considering that they say you will only have the table reserved for 1 1/2 hours, that was not enough time to get dessert. They had not brought our entree until more than 1 hour into our reservation time. What was most vexing was the valet, which is advertised as free. When the valet brought our car up, he barely spoke English and said that we would be getting a ticket because the reader didn’t read our license plate because it’s paper. The car was a rental and did not have paper tags. He said he was telling “them” that there would be a ticket. We could not communicate with him and what he said didn’t make any sense to us. Now we get to look forward to a ticket from the rental car company probably 2 months down the road with extra fees attached. Overall ending the night with a confusing message from the valet that we are getting fined for some unknown violation we didn’t commit left a sour taste in our mouth. The valet didn’t provide contact information for who to call if there is an issue or anything. We are expecting it will probably add another $50-$75 onto our bill. Even though the food was good, I don’t think we will return.

   Excellent food, ambience, experience, and service. Worth coming to for special occasions as they pay attention to detail and make you feel celebrated. A very unique spot in Dallas.

   My Fiancé and I attended Dakotas Steakhouse for the first time two years ago in our two year anniversary, and again today for our 4 year anniversary. It was and will always be an unforgettable experience due to the consistently stellar service, attention to detail, classy location, and quality of food. I especially want to thank our server, Brian, who made it his mission to serve us with detail, focus and love. I asked for special requests for our Anniversary, and Brian and the staff came through and made each one of my requests a reality. Thank you Dakotas! I will continue to recommend you to my friends and family!

    Great espresso martini and 4 course meal was perfect . Thank you and our waitress was sweet and took good care of us and really did great with the menu. We will be coming back .
