          Disappointment. Highlight was Juan the waiter and the dry red he suggested. The food was bland and over priced. I was looking forward to wood fired pizza. what i got was overpriced and bland. Same with husbands pasta. The sauce on the octopus was unidentifiable and gross. The place itself is nice. Would i go back, no.

          The usual excellent experience at Dante! Amazing cauliflower crust pizza, great wine recommendations, the "we get it every time" house ricotta/honeycomb appetizer, and wonderful attentive service.

          Back to back dinners at Dante this week. Smoked pork belly flatbread starter was so amazing and flavorful. Clams with Linguini and Veal Milanese entrees wow spectacular! Dante is always an extraordinary dining experience.

          We were celebrating our friend's birthday and retirement. We've been trying to get together for some time. Our waiter started fast out of the gate. The service slowed - water, plates being removed from appetizers...I do not like to ask for my water glass to be filled. Our waiter, however did reach for the bottom of the glass when he did fill it. (some restaurants do not train their employees to do this - kuddos) We ordered calamari - which I would have preferred been served with lemon wedges. My husband - cheese pizza was happy with his. Our friends were happy with their pizza. I had the lasagna. It was just ok - maybe. I needed to eat - it was dry - waiter was no where to be found - or I would've asked for more red sauce. The bottom was burnt. Burnt. My friend who ordered take away said the same about hers. I am not generally one who fills out these surveys, but my friend - who we dined with - enjoys your pizzas. Speaking of pizzas - we were there earlier this year and I ordered a pizza and it was so soggy. Maybe our stars did not align. Lori Graff

          Took a few friends out for my birthday dinner. Everything was fantastic. Eli was our server and did a phenomenal job. Great recommendation with wine pairing. This is one of my favorite places to dine in Omaha.
