   Food is okay, good bar food. But we didn’t go for the food, went for entertainment. Had a great time drinking, watching sports and gaming. We would definitely go back,

   Very decent food with adequate pricing. Many play options but more staff to help customers is urgently needed. Especially for kids. Waiting service a bit slow.

   This was probably the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. First we came in and were seated, we never received a menu and had to ask for them, we had 5 people, they brought us 2 menus so we asked another table for theirs. Then we waited 45 minutes for the waitress to come to our table and she asked us if we’re ready to order, not once were we asked if we wanted a DRINK so we had to tell her. We finally got our food and it was good but we couldn’t get our waitress back just so we could LEAVE let alone a refill or anything else we needed. Then we asked her about our cards for the arcade and she said we could get them through her so she added them to our bill and then they added the tip WITH the cards added. Overall we were at the table for 2 hours. Yes it was Saturday and busy but this was miserable and ridiculous. First and last time I’ll ever step foot in that place.

   So, the thing about Dave and Busters is that the OpenTable reservation you make doesn’t actually mean anything. It’s not like they hold a table for you in any way- this has happened to us multiple times now with large groups. They just take everyone first come first serve. If it makes you feel better to make a reservation on Open Table by all means do it- but just know it literally means nothing as you’re planning your evening.

   Dave and Busters at FairOaks Mall is just bad. Made a reservation and when we got there, they were in the wrong place and they had given out all the billiard balls which were requested. Ordered several things with “No tomatoes”, due to an allergy and played came with tomatoes. Ordered double drinks and never got one but was charged for them. Service is at the best bad most of the times we’ve been there. Last time they had one bartender for the entire place during a Commanders game with every table taken. They no longer have bottles for beverages except for Corona. It is extremely expensive now to even step foot in the door. They’ve added “fees” to just about everything. $3 for a play card. 20% for “Large” parties that you’re not told about till the second bill comes. We had three parties and decided to just combine the check to make it easier for the waiter because he seemed so confused about what went with who. When we combined it, he had to bring a new check because he added the large party fee. Drinks are poured short then they try to tell you they are “supercharged”. In all honesty, take your money and go spend it somewhere else. Bad food. Bad service most of the time. Bad value and way overpriced.

   Went on a Sunday afternoon to watch football. Greeter at the door was rude and not helpful. We had to figure out where our game was playing on our own. The large screen showing the game we came to see was blurry (all others were crystal clear). We asked if it could be fixed and no one seemed to care about it. It was never fixed. Waited a long time to be served at our table. When we finally got served and ordered, we learned that half of the appetizers were unavailable. In the bathroom, all four paper towel dispensers were empty. Won’t be back. Terrible experience.

   Made reservation. Walked in and waited for host / hostess to seat us. They appeared in a few minutes and waived us on and said sit anywhere. Reservations didn’t matter. We wandered around and found most unoccupied tables were covered with plates etc (unbussed). Found a “clean” or at least “cleared” table. It and the menus were sticky. After a few minutes a waitress came by and suggested we sit elsewhere in the restaurant as she was overloaded. Or we could wait right there. I asked “ten minutes?” and she said yes. After another 15 minutes passed and we saw neither hide nor hair of her, we called the restaurant next door to see if they had space and could take us. They did and could. We walked out and ate there. We will not darken the door of a D&B again.

    Always a GREAT play to see a sporting event. We meet monthly with a group of Caps fans to Rock the Red and have a great time!
