   This was our first time there. Fantastic! Chad, our server was great! Very knowledgeable and explained everything. Wife got the seafood pappardelle (sp?) and I got the evening special, Ravatappi &Ragu. Both dishes were extraordinary. The potato croquettes appetizer was amazing. We shared a chocolate tartar dessert with a bourbon sauce that was out of this world!! It’s a small place so reservations are highly recommended. When we ate there, all the tables were filled. You can’t go wrong with David’s 388.

   We sat at the counter and watched the chef work her magic! Have NEVER had a bad experience here. Food is always incredible and love the atmosphere! We will be back!

   Overall good - waited was pleasant and attentive. Food (we only had entrées, but they took and hour?! 2 of the 3 meals were good, the duck was overcooked. The manager was pleasant and comped us one of our two deserts. Overall not the best but still OK. Things happen and the place is consistent so we will be back. We didn’t ask, but really thought manager should have comped both deserts based on the evenings experience. We will be back, hope to give 5-star review next time. NOTE - restaurant charges a 4% fee for “operational cost” - ridiculous, just increase your prices 4%….

   This was our first time here and it won’t be the last. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. My father had the duck and he stated it was the best meal he has had in a long time! My husband had the haddock and I had the seafood pasta, both were superb. We were seated in the area where the bar is located and it was a little noisy for my Dad, who is in his 90s and wears hearing aides. Next time, we will request a table in the adjoining room.
