   The waiter was dry. He didn’t discuss specials and personality was lack luster. The drinks were horrible. Not his fault. I blame the bartender for that. The food was amazing. Steak was cooked perfectly.

   I booked a reservation for my wife’s birthday. I clearly indicated it was her birthday and the special request of butter cake for dessert. My hotel concierge called to reiterate the birthday reservation. The hosts/hostesses/waitress did not acknowledge her birthday. I told the waitress it was her birthday. My wife didn’t want dessert because our entrees (and we only ordered entrees) took 50 minutes to arrive. Waitress did bring a dessert for the birthday, it was cheesecake. There is no coat check. The chair I had was damaged. The food we got was really good. The restaurant has gone down as far as service.

   Please do yourself a favor and actually believe the reviews below about how terrible the service is. I didn’t and we had a bad dinner experience on 12/07. 1) We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and I wrote it as a note on my open table reservation. Not one person asked about the celebration (host or waiter). 2) This location does not offer mocktails. We asked for the alcohol-free options and were told they did not have any and would not make any exceptions. Something about not having fresh fruit to muddle? This is funny since the online menu listed 3 mocktail options. They did not even offer us any substitutes. 3) We ordered our appetizers very soon after being sat. The waiter returned about 10 minutes after to ask for our main dishes. 40 minutes went by and no appetizers came out. We suddenly received our main dishes. When we communicated with the waiter that we didn’t receive the apps we had ordered, we simply got the response of “I’ll take it off the bill.” Great but not one apology or alternative was given. Overall, we left this establishment extremely disappointed. Do not come here if you want to celebrate a special occasion because they don’t care and won’t even ask. Good luck trying to flag down your waiter since they never check in. The service should be top notch for what you’re spending to dine here. We will not be returning.    Food was delicious. Server was friendly but possibly a little overwhelmed with multiple tables including a private party of about 15 people. Took 20 minutes to get my husbands drink which was watered down and he had to flag her to get it. Same with the second drink, had to move the glass to the edge of the table and raise his hand to get it. Had made reservations but put in the very last table of the restaurant next to either the managers office or computer room.

   There were odd issues from the start. Including our reservation clearly being for 4 (confirmed on ground level) but the upstairs people set the table for 6 and then made us wait for them to remove items and chairs instead of putting us at a four as we reserved. But that can happen. It was a busy Friday night. Should have been slower than other times but not bad. But the service was beyond slow. We ordered quickly and simple order with no apps or apps as entrees so we could have simple dinner and zip home as we often do. we were not offered beverages (or even water), bread or anything for a very long time after being seated - after 30 Minutes we did ask someone for water since no one had come by to check in at all. It went downhill from there. At the end after more than two hours and many errors Freddy the sommelier had seen what had happened and did work to Rectify the situation but sadly it was the birthday of one in our party and it certainly was not an enjoyable or celebratory place to have a meal. We actually eat here a lot and have never had such a bad experience but this was so bad I think we won’t go back for a while.

   Noise level was a little high for the atmosphere. It certainly would not be appropriate for a romantic dinner, and my wife and I have had a much more normal noise level at the Del Frisco's in NY. Other than the over the top noise level, it was a great night. Food and service were excellent, as usual.

    Incredible steaks. Though I ordered mine medium rare and it was more blood rare. Also sides were big enough for three people. So don't over order like we did. Lemon cake for dessert wasn't so good, but butter cake was excellent.
