   We really enjoyed the anniversary menu at Delfina. Every bite was exceptional! The service was stellar and we were treated like family. Thank you for an incredible evening!

   Everything was so consistently wonderful. Every single dish tasty. We (four of us — two age 30 and two in our sixties) started with the Anchovies and Butter — perfect mix of salty and fishy and creamy— and the castelvetrano olives — warm and tasty. We all especially loved the Halibut crudo and the salad was excellent (loved the dressing), the pomodoro spaghetti was perfect (as always!) and the Squash Tortelloni was a definite favorite, the Paccheri All’Amalfitana was good, too. And the Chicories Pie was also perfect — not your traditional pizza (no red sauce — instead there were fried eggs on top). The crust had the perfect amount of chew and of yeasty flavor. We ended with a chocolate budino — very rich and very chocolatey. Not only was the food delicious (hit the perfect spot between inventive and familiar) but also the service was perfect — our waiter gave us great suggestions when we asked and was attentive but not intrusive. We ate outside, which was lovely, and even though it was quite a cool evening we felt warm and toasty under the heaters. Another perfect dinner at Delfina!

   Delfina accommodated an adjustment to our reservation. The food was fantastic and our server was fabulous. Overall great experience.

   Better than my memories. Delfina was one of our favorites back in the early 2000's, but because of difficulty finding nearby parking, and a move to the East Bay, we stopped going. Last evening, we went back and the food and service were amazing. Two of us had the Restaurant week specials - one had the chicken ballotine and the other the gnocchi. Every item on the menu was delicious. We also had the deviled eggs and the sformato - also fantastic. We will definitely be returning - despite not being SF residents! We did find the noise level objectionable, despite the fact that we had a "quiet" booth - this is a common problem in a lot of restaurants and Delfina's was not necessarily any worse than many we've been to.

   Lovely outdoor heated patio, divine food, gracious service. Easy to get parking via spothero. I first came here 26 years ago—opening night. It is still a showstopper restaurant.
