   Hadn’t visited in several years and we were pleased to learn that the food was as good, perhaps better, than we remembered. The pasta was the equal to many of the very best Italian restaurants in the City. And take a Waymo or other car service, parking is impossible in that neighborhood.

   It’s a given that the food is exceptional each time but the staff is what puts this restaurant on our favorite list. They are gracious and helpful even when the restaurant is swamped.

   The service set the tone - friendly and helpful from the moment we set foot through the front door. The waitress, in particular, was knowledgeable and skillful in listening to her guests desires and preferences and then diplomatically guiding the choices of entrees. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented and unhurried - even on a busy weekend evening. It allowed the 4 of us to truly enjoy our meal and each others' company. I'd been to Delfina > 15yrs ago, and had been wondering whether the restaurant had been able to maintain its previous great reputation. The answer is a resounding 'YES'!!!

   We love Delfina, this visit was especially spectacular. My wife and I took my mom to Delfina and everything was superb. The food was delicious, service was outstanding, and the dessert was otherworldly. It was a tiny bit too loud for my mom, but she’s noise sensitive. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
