   We had a wonderful experience at Della Porta. The food was amazing and the service was equally as good. Allyssa made us feel welcomed, offerred some nice recommendations and was very attentive. She made the entire experience more special. Then, the dinner was followed up with a night cap on the patio where Chris and Allysa shared some of their creative cocktails with some special ingredients. A wonderful eveing that was made very special by the folks at Della Porta. Highly recommend it.

   Awful experience. Bad management and food is awful. Can’t even get a water refilled twice during a meal. Understaffed - fine it’s end of season. Can let this go. However . . . - After server left and never came back again until I’m done with my dinner; so loses my second glass of wine order, but more of a problem is I can’t get water. He was even nearby one other time when my dinner was in front of me but never stopped by. Wine glass is empty too. - Asked the food runner to have someone drop by with water since we had not gotten since we had ordered. Nothing happens. She could care less. Didn’t even say anything to anyone on her way back where she passed someone else behind bar who was standing there. - asked the manager who was taking the table next to us for water. My wife asked politely. Said pardon me even to make sure it wasn’t at all abrupt. She scowls at my wife. Didn’t come back until awhile later. By then the server had came. She did however make sure the couple my parents age for plenty of service. Not sure why that disparity occurred. - when server came we just grabbed our check. Wasn’t sure we would see him again and at that point we didn’t want to order dessert as we likely wouldn’t get more water and why spend money somewhere they don’t care. - two pasta dishes with tiny portions at $29 apiece. My paccheri had Six noodles with a “short rib” chopped up that is gummy and poorly cooked. Over done on the pepper, then gummy on the pasta. Don’t care if it’s locally sourced; if the food that you make from it is bad then it doesn’t matter. Don’t waste your money. It’s awful overall. Needs better management. Needs better training. Chef needs to go easy on the pepper for the paccheri. Your credit card service charge is low class too.

   We had issues with the reservation showing up but they worked with us to get us seating. The appetizers were good, the mixed drinks were disappointing, and the pasta portions are very small for the price. The pizzas are very good and what we would order if we returned.

   Hey Jill, thanks for the feedback. we've literally never gotten a negative word about our cocktails, so that's surprising to hear, but we do want to make clear that our prices are our prices due to the quality of the ingredients we are either sourcing locally, or importing from Italy. The sundried Gragnano pasta, along with imported olive oil and Parmigiana Reggiano DOC are just a few of the things that are on pretty much every pasta dish that go along with our completely from-scratch sauces, and they usually are still pretty filling entree sizes! We are glad we were able to work to accommodate your family despite the technical difficulties, hope you give us another shot!

   Della Porta has the absolute best Italian food I have ever eaten ! Absolutely delicious ! The owners are lovely people as well and I can’t wait to go back 😀

   Food delicious, but would have loved bread to start, even with a charge as is done in Italy. Very loud in dining room.

   Great food. The white fish and pizza was amazing. Great food. Wonderful owners. Enjoy a great meal then walk to the park and watch the sunset.
