Great food and plenty of it. Service fast even though it was busy in bar area. All in all great value, would definitely recommend

The Derwent Arms has obviously spent a lot of time and energy on its website and marketing as I was expecting a much more home cooked menu rather than the bog standard chain menu that we were presented with. Having said that, the service was fantastic, food was piping hot and as advertised on the menu. A tad expensive though for ready made vegetable lasagne and I had to pay extra for garlic bread and extra again for chips. A bit of a rip off.

Overall very good tastey food. Good offers throughout the week on food. Tvs all round but volume not loud so music in background can be heard. Good for just having drinks too

Great food, amazing value. Lisa was brilliant, we arrived early but that was np, best Sunday dinner in ages. Good sized portions with a good selection of veg. Leek dish was amazing & cauliflower cheese we also brilliant

We went in between Christmas and New Year with family. Lovely meal, friendly service. Food was of very good standard. Enjoyed not having to cook. We be returning in the future.
