   Great venue. Salad bar, entree and carver stations all very good. Would have given five stars, but dessert options weren’t as advertised. Pecan and Pumpkin pie were the only edible options. Cookies were overcooked and hard as a rock. No cheesecake, lemon pudding, chocolate mousse cake, carrot cake, Tiramisu ? Was told deserts were pretty much all gone? How’s that possible when reservations let the chef and crew know how many are going to be needed to be served? Price point of buffet warrants the full advertised menu; not limited.

   Our reservations were at 2:15 & we weren’t seated till 2:45. Our server wasn’t very attentive. We had the buffet, but had difficulty getting our silverware & water refills.

   Christmas buffet. Shrimp cocktail was excellent. Prime rib was good, but was well done. Server was on point. Desserts were still somewhat frozen.

   An excellent selection of good food, and plenty of it. We were seated promptly and approached by our waitress immediately. Excellent food and service, all handled promptly and efficiently.

   The Grand Christmas Buffet was anything but grand. The food was disgusting processed crap!!! For $175.00 for two people I expected much better quality. Cold Sister Shubert rolls, Stovetop stuffing or something similar, overcooked meats…most things were not edible. We will never make that mistake again!!!

   This was a special Christmas buffet at the historic Arlington hotel in Hot Springs, AR. It was very nice with a live pianist playing Christmas songs. There was a wide variety of salad items, main course items and dessert choices. There's also two carving stations and a smoked salmon station. The hotel was beautifully decorated. They had a giant ginger house and Christmas tree. We'll worth the $60 per person.

   We had a reservation for 9 for 2 weeks. When we arrived there was no one else dining and they had our table set up on a round top with a place setting for 6. Our office manager politely told them that they would not work unless someone had to sit on someone else’s lap. So that started putting tables together. A All the staff seemed unhappy. No smiles. Our waitress would come then disappear. When our food came out the waitress could not remember who ordered what and was confused. Two of the 6 steaks were not cooked to order. One steak had to be sent back then it was a long time before the new one came out and everyone had finished eating. They did offer one free dessert for the trouble. The food overall was okay just was not a nice Christmas staff dinner as we had hoped. Instead of looking forward to what our food would be like, the whole atmosphere made us worry about what we got ourselves into. This is really declined for the Arlington. We had hoped for a better dining experience.

   We went to the thanksgiving buffet. They were an hour and ten minutes behind on getting us seated. The food was good but the service was scarce. We were always waiting on more clean plates. Foods weren't refilled fast enough - we waited for quite sometime for stuffing. Our waitress was nice but just seemed preoccupied with all the chaos of the evening. I think we would go back on a regular night but for the thanksgiving special it seemed they were under equipped for the service you'd have expected for what you paid. They also had carving stations and I watched one of the men carving the brisket have his gloves on, reach into the top jar, removed the money, stuck it in his pocket, & return to serving food without changing his gloves 🤢... I did not get brisket

    Food was not worth the money. Service was horrible. We arrived early for our reservation and it took another 45 minutes to be seated. Had two plates before our server came to get our drink order. Ran out of food at the buffet. Worst $175 I ever spent on two people. I do not recommend for Thanksgiving.
