Highly recommend the baller omakase tasting menu! So many delicious bites and the staff was helpful and informative with tips and demonstration of how to most accurately prepare each course. Our server Bradley was kind and friendly too! We would definitely dine here again!

All around fabulous experience. This spot does not disappoint. From the exciting cocktails to the hearty shabu-shabu main entree, a culinary experience to die for. Wait staff were helpful and knowledgeable, which made this an experience as opposed to a mere meal.

3rd or 4th time here, and I’m sad to say it just didn’t deliver this time. They changed the menu up, and it’s just not what it used to be. It unfortunately wasn’t worth the $400 this go round. I think I’d go to SoupLeaf before I go back here

We’ve been going to dipdipdip for several years. We love Shabu. We hadn’t been in a while so we hit it on Friday. Gotta say, it was disappointing. It was the first time we had gone since they changed the menu and that is where the disappointment came. We thought their previous menu was a perfect approach. Since we couldn’t really pinpoint what we used to like on the menu we just went with the “Baller” since it was the one similar thing. Turned out it didn’t really match up at all with the old Baller menu. I’m the end, the food was good but really miss the old menu. Tongue should absolutely be dropped off the menu. Who wants a tough, chewy piece of rubber in their plate? The rice soup at the end was blah. Much prefer a noodle couple. Walking out the door having spent $280 for two people, we kinda shrugged and said we probably won’t be back. That wasn’t worthy of a $280 tab. Bummer

Outstanding environment. Great music, darker, more intimate surroundings with beautiful wood tables and bamboo cutout walls. High quality food complemented with versatile entrees (we chose hot pot and throughly enjoyed it). Rate: 9.5/10

WOW! As you walk in, you are welcomed by the entire staff. Very inviting atmosphere, a lot of energy, and the drinks and food was amazing. Understanding this was our first visit, Jorge did a tremendous job of explaining the menu and providing his expertise on drinks, appetizers and main dish's. We can't say enough great things about dipdipdip Tatsu-ya and looking forward to our next of many visits.
