Kick off the festivities with a delicious welcome drink, setting the scene of a cracking Christmas night out. Indulge in a mouthwatering three-course festive feast and then spend the night on the dance floor with the very best mix of music courtesy of our fabulous resident DJ until Midnight. This includes an arrival drink (mulled wine, fizz or bottled beer), delicious 3 course meal, festive novelties, party crackers and our resident DJ. You have made a wonderful decision to choose Linden Hall for your festive feast this year! We do have availability for our Christmas day lunch in our Bigge Banqueting Suite. We will give you the time to indulge your loved ones with a glass of fizz on arrival, as well as serving you a delicious three-course banquet followed by tea, coffee and scrumptious mince pies. 12:30 food will be served, please let us know how many adults and children will be attending along with any dietary requirements we need to accommodate for. Very disappointed with whole experience. I booked in advance and also communicated with hotel via email to which they replied so I know messages were received and read. We were a party of four, one of whom is in a motorised wheelchair and needs a quiet area which they knew about. I arrived early to ensure all was set up- couldn’t be further from truth. The advertised room ‘The Dobson Restaurant’ was full with a noisy conference lunch so we were being put just outside in a casual seating area. It was too noisy so we then were taken to cocktail bar as further from conference, however the seats were low and tables high and we had to push two small round tables together to house the afternoon tea. We couldn’t see each other over the tea/coffee pots and cake stands, my friend in the wheelchair towered above everyone else. We had to have our plates on our lap but stand up to pour the tea or coffee. There was music playing which we asked to be turned down. So the set up was not as advertised or expected and they had plenty of opportunities to tell us that we would not be in the usual restaurant and we could have gone the following day instead. The food was nothing special, mass produced cakes and average sandwiches and a plain and fruit scone each. For £90 for 4 people it was nothing special which was what we hoped, we have all had better elsewhere for a similar or lower price. If it had been in the correct location and they had prepared in advance a space for our disabled guest we would have been much happier. But still expensive for what it was, we would not recommend.
