   Food, very poor standard. Paper table cloth and serviette’s with artificial flowers not in keeping with Doddington Hall. Would not recommend to anyone. Very poor value for money.

   Our time with you today was amazing, everything was perfect, especially your team, outstanding 👍. The food was also fantastic, the savoury option was a brilliant touch. THANK YOU

   The location was beautiful, as was the presentation of the afternoon tea. However, we just found the sandwiches and cakes a little underwhelming and quite dry. Scones were lovely, but would have been better warm. Staff were lovely and smiley, but there was not much more to it than that. A lot of fake flowers and foliage, would have been even nicer if it was real.

   Was a lovely afternoon tea but the sandwiches were all a bit hard like they had been made quite a while before, the staff were lovely but maybe should be making sure everyone is happy and needing anything instead of grouping together to chat

   Lovely Valentines Day afternoon tea. Beautiful surroundings, and the staff very attentive. Probably a little expensive but very tasty food.

   Very disappointing when the standard of the food in the main cafe is excellent. The fillings in the sandwiches were lovely but the bread extremely dry which ruined them - as if prepared well in advance and left out. The scones were great and the macaroons but the rest of the cakes were dry and disappointing. Won’t be rushing back for afternoon tea.

    We booked an afternoon tea as a gift from my friend. Easy to book and had multiple emails and texts to ensure we were on time. Got to the coach house ten minutes before to find nothing open and another couple unsure as to what to do. I walked round to the shop, asked if we were in the right place which they then went to check, we were. 12:05 doors open which left a bad feeling as we were told so many times you need to be there for 12. Afternoons tea choices were great, food was ok but dry. We were able to get some more tea which was fantastic. What frustrated us most was the service, whilst enjoying our afternoon tea all you could hear was the servers sorting our cutlery from behind the wall divider. We had to get up and go round the divider to ask for our bill to which we found 5 members of staff sorting cutlery with no one out front to see if anyone needed anything. Asked for the bill, everything sorted but it just left a really weird feeling with us. I’ve seen comments before where it’s mentioned we should have spoke up but unfortunately we couldn’t find anyone to speak to. The venue is gorgeous and we will return but we will just go to the cafe rather than afternoon tea.
