   Our waiter Juan was so sweet. He made that either him or another person would always refill our water. The food was delicious and the drinks were yummy. Definitely a great place to celebrate an anniversary!

   When my husband and I arrived at the restaurant, we were initially seated between other guests, which made us uncomfortable. We asked to be moved and ended up sitting at the bar instead. Unfortunately, it took about ten minutes before anyone approached us to take our drink order or check in.When our food arrived, we began eating without anyone checking on us. The server never asked how our meal was — not when it was served, nor while we were eating. In fact, my husband had to get her attention just to tell her the food was really good. Throughout our time there, she was mostly occupied with cleaning and wrapping up her shift, as it was nearing closing time.While I want to emphasize that the food was truly excellent — we were both very impressed by it — the customer service was extremely disappointing. We felt overlooked and unacknowledged as customers. No one checked to see if we were satisfied, and if we hadn’t enjoyed our food, there would have been no opportunity to share that.This was not the experience we expected, especially at a restaurant that so many people had highly recommended. We were really looking forward to our date night, but the service left a lot to be desired. While the food gets a 10/10, the service gets a 0/10. I would not recommend sitting at the bar or dining in if customer service is something you value in your restaurant experience.

   Best Cuban food in the city!!! The atmosphere is everything you can want for pictures/videos and celebrations. Staff provide good customer service and maintain enthusiasm despite how many times they sing happy birthday in 1 night. Gratuity is included most of the times which makes it easier to split the bill for groups that struggle to decide on the same gratuity rate. Location is Mass & Cass (iykyk) but there is parking so you can bypass the outside chaos.

   Hasta ahora uno de mis lugares favoritos por sus bebidas y mi plato favorito que es el arroz imperial. Hasta ahora que vine a celebrar mi cumpleaños con mis amigos y en un mojito de pasión fruit salió una cucaracha. Terminé llorando porque es algo que había anhelado tanto y que haya pasado esto. He ido a muchos lugares con menos prestigio y nunca había pasado algo así! Al final no nos cobraron nada por lo consumido pero no se trata del dinero, sino de la experiencia vivida. Enserio me siento súper decepcionada por lo ocurrido, parece una pesadilla . Usualmente nunca dejo reviews pero esto tenía que sacarlo de mi. Espero nadie más pase algo tan feo como lo que yo pasé ahora.

   we always have a great time and the food is always so good! it may sound crazy with so many amazing dishes, but i think my favorite thing on the menu is the goat cheese and spinach empanada 😅

   We had reservations and it took about 25 minutes to get our first drink, we ordered as soon as we sat down and also ordered our food. That took about 45 minutes. The food was delicious. I had also made reservations here because it said it had live music but it was a girl singing karaoke and playing I believe Dominic music, we thought it would be live Cuban music since we were at a Cuban restaurant. Last, they automatically charge 18% gratuity, which we don’t mind paying but considering our service was so delayed, they could’ve done better at communicating that to us, instead of us just sitting there not knowing anything.

   This is one of my favorites - I love the whole fried red snapper - crispy and tender and well seasoned. The dressing on the salad that comes with it has a refreshing bit and the sweet plantains are always cooked just right. I was disappointed with the the tres leche cake -it tasted more like tiramisu than, too much garnish for me.

    This establishment was awesome. We really enjoyed the food. The server was attentive and the ambiance was excellent Truly enjoy it.
