We had made reservations a few weeks ago and when we went there they put us in front of the kitchen, which was not a part of the restaurant and has temporary chairs and tables. Every time we opened kitchen door Opened there were bright lights that shone on our face and we could see right in the kitchen. When we asked them to move us, they sat us at a different spot which was nice but then the manager came and said that table was reserved for the owner . We were asked to move again. This time we went and talked to another person and he seated in a different spot which was a part of the same restaurant. So much moving around in such a short period of time. Our server was very nice but they were not attentive to water refills. Food was OK - curry dishes had a lot of curry but not the actual meat or paneer. Also they gave extremely small places which does not match the food items on the menu. They are trying to be a tapas place but with offering like dal and Malabar curry you can’t. It’s a nice set up but they need to ask what kind of restaurant they want to be and cater accordingly.

This place has opened very recently, so some of the items on the menu were not yet available. But our waiter was very upfront about it and made other recommendations instead. All the food and drinks were really good, and the ambience was excellent.

had an interesting experience dining here-- concepts of the dishes were interesting but we were served the wrong dish quite a few times and didn't receive some of our food. the music was insanely loud and there were three back-to-back birthday song celebrations that continued on for 15 minutes, so we couldn't even hear ourselves. i also wish the menu came with options to alter the spice levels of dishes, as some dishes were quite bland (auntyji's paneer bowl) and others were very well spiced (masala fries). however, the manager is very sweet! she checked in on us regularly and even confirmed some potential allergens with the kitchen. the drink menu is also quite impressive and i appreciate some of the innovative ingredients/drinks they had. their dessert (specifically the mango lassi cheesecake) was really good, perhaps the one i'd reorder for sure! this is one of the better places in boston for indian food but i certainly think that some improvements can be made, and i wish they had more vegetarian options!

The music is so unreasonably loud and they play very obnoxious techno music. You won’t be able to hear the people you’re dining with. Anytime the server came over, we were just screaming over the music to get our orders and it even seemed really difficult for them. The food is good but the portions are weird. The trio of dips, came with a quarter of the bread we were expecting. Even the order of naan was two tiny pieces of bread. The vindaloo and butter chicken each had like three or four for very small chunks of chicken and the rest was sauce. The drinks were very good. The service needs work. I think we sat at our table for about 15 min before we were even greeted.

It felt like they were overwhelmed by the foot traffic the restaurant has been receiving, as result it felt like the food lacked freshness and the flavours are honestly mid.

We were a party of five and excited to try this place. While the concept is interesting and the ambience is decent, we found the food overpriced for the taste and quality, and the service was underwhelming. Drinks: The chai espresso martini was enjoyable, but the other drinks we tried fell flat. Appetizers: We ordered the tater tots, kale fritters, and okra fries. Unfortunately, they arrived almost cold and tasted like pre-prepared or frozen items with seasoning and chaat masala sprinkled on top. Main Dishes: We tried their signature paneer, butter chicken, fish curry, and the smashburger— all Indian-inspired dishes. The portions were disappointing for the price, especially the fish curry, which contained just three small pieces of fish. The grated paneer was an interesting choice, but the dish lacked substance and had mild spice levels. The smashburger was supposed to have an extra zing of spice, but it didn’t stand out, and the fries were served cold. When we raised our concern with the server, rather than addressing the issue, they suggested ordering additional food which we may like more...(?) The naan was subpar for an Indian restaurant— it tasted like store-bought naan with garlic butter brushed on top. Service & Pricing: They automatically charge an 18% service fee, which would have been reasonable if the service matched the cost. However, the staff was slow, and we spent half our time waiting for a server. To top it off, after we asked for the check, the manager came and rushed us to leave, this was after waiting for 10-15 mins for the server to come and give us the check so we didn’t understand the point of that. Overall, I hope they improve as they establish themselves. There’s potential, but the experience didn’t meet expectations.
