Pasta dish was not that great. Asked for blackened shrimp and came mixed in sauce. All because they were out of scallops which is what I ordered.

Service was really slow. Our meals were very good but definitely overpriced for what we received. We were there for 2 and a half hours and we did not get appetizers or dessert. Our waiter was nice but honestly food is overpriced and not kid friendly.

My food was horrible! Lobster was dry and over cooked and my steak wasn’t seasoned 🥴

At first our server was busy and neglected our table. She then came back with a free dessert and really did feel bad. Our overall experience was good.

The food was tasty, but the New Year’s Eve menu was overpriced for what you get. Ordered the bacon appetizer thinking it was like the regular bacon appetizer which gives you four slices, and they brought out a plate with one slice of bacon! The lobster bisque was lukewarm at best. The steak was delicious. And then the dessert was supposed to be chocolate mousse, but they brought out a chocolate layer cake they claimed has mousse in it, it didn’t. It was basically just cake and not very good. The service was fine but felt very rushed, as soon as one dish was done the next was in front of you. We like to linger and enjoy our meal, have another drink and they asked if we wanted a to go cup and the check as soon as dessert was done. All this for $150 a person!! I have higher standards for a meal this pricey.

We were visiting the Poconos and recommended Double Cut by a friend. Sadly our experience on NYE did not live up to expectations. We booked some weeks ago not realising until a message was sent on 30 Dec that the only option for adults was a fixed price $150 per person menu. In itself this would not have been a problem and understandable for a busy NYE evening, had the food not been extremely poor. The prawn and scampi appetisers were decent albeit small. This was followed by a lukewarm lobster bisque consisting of mainly sour cream. My husband’s NY strip was tough and chewy, and son’s child filet mignon was barely edible due to over seasoning. My daughter’s burger was literally a bun and a dry patty. We would have sent these back had it not been obvious the kitchen was overwhelmed. The value for money would have been poor on any day but even more so given the premium price charged. The positive was that the service was good and our server noticing we were not finishing our dishes, did offer an alternative salad and upsized a glass of wine.

The service and ambiance was great, I got California rolls with no flavor. My wife and I both got stuffed shrimp. The shrimp weren’t seasoned at all, the crab was bland… it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. We have no desire to return to this restaurant. The three sides we got were great, creamed corn, Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. The bread was also very good.

Another great experience at this restaurant! We drove an hour and 15 minutes just to eat here. Ribeye was amazing along with oysters and carpaccio 😋 and to add to the amazing food experience, Nicole, the waitress was awesome and the manager, Christine, was so accommodating and professional. Ty! Kudos and accolades! We will be back very soon
