The Douglas Lake Bar & Steakhouse, known to locals as the “DLB”, has a rich history of providing great food and service in a rustic log building overlooking beautiful Douglas Lake. The two giant fieldstone fireplaces offer the perfect dining ambiance during the spring and fall seasons.     Come celebrate New Year's Eve with us! Our special menu for the evening is a 4 course menu to include your choice of an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert for $110 per person.     We travel over an hour, one way, to eat at DLB twice a year. We are never disappointed in the food. The steaks are incredible.

    Douglas Lake Bar & Steakhouse was phenomenal! Making a reservation online was super easy. The food was fantastic & although the restaurant was packed, our meal was not rushed in any way! Everything was cooked to perfection the way it was ordered! Our server, Barbie was a real gem & hustled for all her tables, as did the entire wait-staff; everyone was moving all the time! The live music was a wonderful touch, as well! Again, the best word to describe our dining experience was phenomenal & we will definitely be return guests!

    DLB is a hidden gem, worth the drive to get there. Their food is top notch every time I go, which is about three times or more a season.

    Very classic, been around for many years, lake house restaurant. Menu is heavy on classical dishes from whitefish to steaks and pasta dishes, all are very good, steaks are a bit pricey. Make a reservation on seasonally busy weekends.

    As always, our food was delicious. And the service was great. So many restaurants change every year, but you can count on the Douglas Lake Bar year after year to have consistently good food. Thanks for being there!

    We really enjoyed our dinner inside as we usually sit out on the porch. Will miss it and will be back when it opens in. 2025 for some more delicious dinners. Thanks!
