First time. We were encouraged by the drink menus (though we were there for breakfast so will have to go back) as they cocktail prices were very reasonable; wine not so much. Breakfast was good. This is a nice place and you won't smell like you were at a Diner for breakfast which if you are like us, means it's not the really greasy breakfast you sometimes crave, but it was very good and we will be back. Especially when catching breakfast before going somewhere and we don't want to stink. Good service too and nice location for just about anything event-wise downtown St. Paul.

We always love coming here for drinks and dinner.The food is always delicious. Lacey, the server, she is always wonderful, very polite, and the waiter Steve is amazing too. We will definitely continue to come to the Downtowner.

Such a comfortable atmosphere with the fireplace burning & the scent of the Woodfire grill. Attentive service Poached pear salad good but VERY skimpy on the pears. Ask for dressing on the side~ Overall excellent experience ~thank you😊
