   Chilean Sea Bass was the absolute best I’ve ever eaten. Better than NY, London or Paris. Risotto was also fabulous! Great job E3!!!

   E3 has an excellent Sunday brunch,which we enjoyed outside on Mothers Day. E3’s riverside patio is one of the best in Steamboat. Breakfast sammies, avocado toast, açaí bowls, and shrimp & grits were enhanced by mimosas, a create your own Bloody Mary bar, and river rafters drifting by on the swift Yampa River. Matt provided outstanding service.

   We have been here before and loved it. Not sure what happened but our waitress forgot drinks, no refills, asked for our entrees and skipped apprtizers, asked if we wanted dessert but didn’t review the menu or give us one to reference.

   Although the food is generally good, service is strained and don’t be surprised if you get no one to acknowledge you when you come or go. It’s certainly not fine dining as promised. Servers have no shadow server, they are serving up to 6 tables at a time by themselves, and they run out of items often. The manager is consistently unfriendly and unwelcoming. Overpriced and moderately good steaks. Beautiful dining room in the river is great.

   Food was great, but service/kitchen could have been a little better. I asked for medium plus steak and it was rare. I sent back, but it was still on the rare side inside.

   We usually love coming here but for some reason it wasn't as great as usual. I'm hoping to go again and change this review. When we arrived, we were sat at our table but waited for nearly 20 minutes for anyone to greet us. I had to ask one of the other staff members if we had a server or not. Our server was a little rude and we just felt a strange vibe the entire time. It was an incredibly expensive meal (nearly $500 with tip for three people). When you're spending this much on food, you expect to be dined in the finest. The food was great, but we ordered oysters and they took a very long time to arrive. I do hope our next experience will be better.

    Decided to sit at the bar vs. a table. Is a nice place. Lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious! It is a high-end place, so the costs matches, but worth it!
