   Small touches missing today. On previous visits we have been offered water for the table, not today, also no coffee or tea available and butter missing from the cheese platter. Food good but small touches matter

   Booked specifically for the Sunday roast & wow it was amazing! Great value for money with every component being very well made & tasty. Will definitely be recommending!

   Service and atmosphere was excellent ,as was most of the food. However the chips were a bit stodgy ,and the "pint "glasses asked for with soft drinks were not pint glasses even though the receipt stated they were .These were much smaller than a pint . Considering the prices , it was just average pub fare.

   Awful , was left waiting at the entrance while they asked another family to leave to clear a table Starters were awful served with cold curry sauce, not even Luke warm, cold. Lamb dinner had two thumb size pieces, house curry had no sauce tried up chicken on a bed of hard rice. Asked the weightress if the curry sauce was coming out separate, she was not polite Manager refunded the house curry meal in the end

   Ok atmosphere with pleasant staff. Good prompt attention and food and drinks came within a reasonable time. Foot was nice and hot. I had the fish which was huge. My wife had the lamb and asked for it pink and it came pink. One niggle was when wanting to pay the bill and add a tip on my card Couldn’t add it to bill had to use a separate 'tip machine' which adds 38p to the tip. So you get charged to tip. Only 38p but niggled me.

   I have been to this restaurant numerous times with a wonderful experience but unfortunately on this occasion it was horrendous. Children’s parties with children screaming and running and jumping on seating, no intervention from staff. Could not hear to have a conversation with my family and could not wait to get out. Service slow, sides brought out when I had eaten half of my meal

    Food was lovely. Just a shame as we ordered the halloumi burger that was supposed to come with smashed avocado and it didn’t. We weren’t advised of this otherwise we would have chosen something else. Overall though, the service was great, staff friendly and helpful and would go back again.
