   My reservation indicated birthday.. I was more than impressed when we got there and the hostess asked whose b/day it was and wished my friend a happy b/day. Then when we were seated the young lady that took us to our table wished my friend a happy birthday. The waiter was excellent as was the food. My friend likes to be noticed and she was thrilled by the attention. My friend indicated she wanted some kind of b/day dessert and the waiter managed to get the dessert comped. He was above and beyond any expectations we might have had.. Second meal there with a reservation in the last two months and there was nothing that could have been improved either time.

   We had a wonderful time at Happy Hour yesterday. Delish food (pizzas and truffle fries) and wine. Their Happy Hour is great value - I think one of the best in the city. Our server Leo was fantastic and had a great personality. Highly recommend!

   Have been going for years and after seeing an overhaul of their staffing crews (multiple times), this recent luncheon was actually enjoyable with great staff. They were even considerate of the “sun” exposure in our eyes and allocated us to a comfortable seating dining table. Food was delicious and our waiter was friendly and kind.

   I love going to Earl's Ambleside for Happy Hour. It is a great place to meet friends to catch up on busy lives, great Happy Hour menu, I only order the Tofu Tacos as they are the best. The Happy Hour wine is good and a reasonable price.

   My daughter and her friend, both around 15 years old, recently had a disappointing experience at Earls. They were excited to go out for dinner, but the waitress brought the bill before they had finished eating, making them feel rushed to leave. Being young and inexperienced with tipping, they asked the waitress if it was okay to skip the tip, and she said yes. However, afterward, they were confronted with an attitude and told, "You guys normally don't pay tips, do you?" I find this treatment completely unacceptable—why were they questioned like that? No one deserves to be spoken to this way, especially young customers trying to enjoy their evening.

    The food quality there has really gone down, as has the service. Staff was very pleasant, but didn’t come by the entire meal to ask how it was, offer more drinks, etc.
