   Tonight was our first visit and we didn’t expect it to be so busy given the fact that we were easily able to make a reservation at the last minute (with many options available). It appeared the restaurant was well staffed, but at least at our table on the patio service was lacking. Our server was very apologetic from the start and was more than courteous (offered a comped appetizer and dessert), but then we never got the espressos we ordered and when we received our check it included two items we never ordered. Willing to try again but only when we have ample time for dinner.

   We enjoyed the Fried Chicken and Champaign dinner very much. The food and the service were both excellent!

   Eastern Standard consistently delivers. We went for their Birds & Bubbles night and had a great evening! Delicious cocktails and phenomenal food. My wife is generally against bone-in chicken but loved the flavor and juiciness from the bucket of chicken special. Everything delivered - from our new waitress, Sadie, to the drinks, the food and the ambiance.

   The management staff was diligent in checking in but our server was new and struggled with almost every aspect of the job, wine pour was incorrect, forgot to fire food, drinks took over 20 mins to get. Once management stepped in it’s was better

   The steak was tough for both me and my son. Asparagus was very thick and Mac and cheese was passable. Oysters and fries were good. Service was fine, if a little disorganized. Ambiance and decor were fine.

   We love the new Eastern Standard as much as the original, although that speakeasy space will be forever missed. The food continues to he spectacular, the service top notch, the vibe very fine and the cocktails spectacular. We Ubered because it was a Red Sox game night - thanks for letting people know to check the Fenway schedule to figure out parking and for the helpful explanation re parking on your website

   We dined here on a long- awaited return trip to Boston. Eastern Standard at its old location was one of our favorite restaurants ever. I was so sad when they closed, and thrilled to hear of this reopening. We were eager to try it again. Alas, this restaurant bears little resemblance to the former establishment. The menu is quite limited. I had the lobster salad for a starter and my husband had the spring garlic soup. Both were just okay, nothing special. For mains, I had the roasted chicken and my husband had the seared salmon. The mains were decent. My roasted chicken had a very strong Dijon jus ( which was described in the menu but I didn't think it would be so overpowering). I didn't feel it needs the Dijon and would have been better without. My husband's salmon was fine, nothing special. The service was decent and attentive but somewhat cool. We were both quite disappointed and will not bother to return.

    Steak tartare delicious. Chilled lobster in green goddess dressing wonderful although a small portion was expecting a complimentary dessert for my birthday.
