   I really want this place to succeed but they are NOT ACCOMMODATING AT ALL and run out of basic menu items (I was there twice). My daughter asked for a different type of pasta (that was already on the menu) cooked plain with butter and they would not do that. The waiter was rude and disappeared. I had to ask another waiter to bring us a bottle of sparking water after asking 2x.

   First impressions are everything, when I arrived the hostess and what looked like the manager were speaking they didn’t not acknowledge my presence. They finished then the hostess waited a couple of minutes before greeting me. Then when I told her I had a reservation she was like I need to check on the tables. Left me about 5 mins waiting. The gentleman next to me waiting even noticed how poorly the staff was. Then We were seated, the waiter took about 5 mins to come over to take our drink order. The bus boys were more polite and pleasant. There were guests two tables down trying to get with the chef and he seemed to be very uncomfortable with the lady asking him out during our dinner. She was taking loudly across to him. I had to ask the waitresses for extra plates after our pizza appetizer. There was also fly nats and a fly that was buzzing around our table. We were going to get desert but at this point we decided not to. We paid and went to the gelato and dessert section in the front of the store. The staff was so pleasant and welcoming and kind!! We laughed with them and they made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Whatever you are doing with the front staff should be implemented in the restaurant. Poor management falls to your staff and it’s very disheartening that we choose to eat our birthday celebration with you and we were treated so poorly.

   Been here twice and both times the food was very, very good! Service was excellent! Food is pricey but delicious so you get what you pay for:) fun to shop in the Eataly before or after your meal and grab a coffe to go and shop the stores in the mall.

   It’s a lovely place and I am glad that it’s local. The meal options were low for my teenager and the service was quite lagged in terms of timing and sequencing of our meal. We also sat in a lovely bench area but unfortunately, each time someone entered the restaurant, the cold air came in and made it uncomfortable. I had to sit with my hat and scarf on through the meal.

   Shared apps were good calamari meatballs and focaccia. I had the NY strip cooked to the right temp but needed seasoning it didn’t have any favor. Mushrooms were lacking flavor as well potatoes were sadly the best thing on the plate. This meal was something i could have made at home if i were on a diet, no sauce or glaze of any kind. It was a little sad steak and potatoes. Wine was good though. Dessert was meh we ordered panna cotta tiramisu & millefoglie they all needed help. Not the quality eataly is known for. At almost $600 for 5 people it was very disappointing

   Beautiful place very friendly staff portions are tiny overpriced for what you’re getting. Spent $30 on small bowl of pasta and nothing else. It was tasty I have to say. But definitely over inflated in the price.

   Wow the hype but great disappointment. 3 dishes we tried. All lacking flavor depth. The menu seems to be missing a good variety. Worse than a good pizzeria for over $30 per person.

    Food was excellent. Service was definitely lacking - slow, unattentive. Plus, they were out of the Italian beers and still water. Ironing out kinks from recent opening I guess
