   Nice ambience. Pizza was good. Very Disappointed with the NY strip steak-had 6 small pieces of cut up steak for $40. Deserts were meh as well. Overall average food.

   Everything took forever. We checked in for our reservation and there was a large group of people tons of empty tables and it took 15 mins to seat us. We sat and promptly ordered drinks and an appetizer. Our server had to make our cocktails, not sure who thought that was a good idea. He brought them and forgot our sparkling water. Food was mediocre at best, pasta needed salt, none was on the table. No one offered us cheese. You would think that they would just give you a dish if they are too busy to shred cheese. Salad had very little dressing. Pizza came out after two tables were seated 20 mins after us received theirs. Definitely not going back, what a disappointment on every level.

   Calamari was not crispy at all very much just soaked in oil , last time I got calamari it was good this time terrible. I should not have to wait over thirty minutes for an espresso martini that sucks. Also had no water due to them not having any still water bottles not acceptable.

   Waiter was very nice and good, but felt the portions were small albeit very good. Had a reservation but was really early. Told to come back at that time but probably should have said stick around or taken our number as tables opened up. Valentine’s Day menu was all small portions except the dessert. Wine pairing was good. Make bigger portions even slightly and get a better system at check in and it will be a much better experience.

   The cheapest wine was $60.00 way too much!!!!! Try to start $40. Our wine was expensive and not too good.

   Though we've been to Eatly in New York a number of times, it was our first time at Eatly at the Short Hills Mall. We we're seated earlier then our resevation time and received a warm welcome. We went on Valentine's Day and selected the price fixed menu. Everything was fresh and delicious. We weren't rushed and had time between items. We will return

   Pizza ingredients were superb but crust needs some work—very soggy. Wine list overpriced but nice wine glasses. Service was top notch and all staff were professional. I would try again but not over impressed.

    The pizza and salads are very good. However the calamari/ zucchini fritta was poorly made and cooked this time. And it seems they raised the prices since before the new year.
