   Didn’t have a waitress or manager come up to us for 45 minutes. Not even water. We ended up just leaving. Then it took 40 minutes to get our car from the valet because the valet boxed in my car. Do NOT recommend. Completely ruined our “Valentines Dinner”

   Our server, Jenni, was fantastic, the manager was extremely accommodating in every way, the atmosphere was beautiful, I hope one day to play some acoustic music in their bar area...so...to sum it up… It was a perfect Valentine's Day evening. I'm sorry that it took us so long being, Blue River locals, to find this place.

   Spent 3hrs at a Valentine’s dinner. We ordered from the “couple’s 4-course menu,” assuming it would be a busy night for the staff—wanted to keep it simple and avoid delays from ordering off the main menu. Waited 15mins for drinks, 20mins for salads. Didn’t see our waitress for 20min periods. My appetizer came out at about 45mins. At the 1.5hr point, the manager said they ran out of pasta, apologized and offered us a second round of drinks. 10mins later my wife’s appetizer arrived. 20min later the entrees arrived. Food was good, not great. If it hadn’t been for the wonderful couple from Austin sitting next to us and great conversation, we would have walked out. Note to the manager: if you run out of something, tell the customer and offer an option, or just take it off the bill. A little communication much earlier would have gone so much farther than profuse apologies after the fact.

   The Alpenrock Hotel which houses Edwin is a cool, chic, clean establishment and has a great friendly but luxe vibe. Edwin looks great and the people working are all fantastic and helpful in every way. They are still relatively new and are currently working out the kinks. Our pre-fixe meal was a bit off kilter on more than one level, but the hostess, server, bartender, and management all were trying to make it right, which we value. So although our meal wasn’t quite what we expected, we will return for another date night at another time. I’m sure they’ll have it dialed in by then. In the meantime…. Stick with their “Breck” pizzas! I think they know how to do this the absolute best!

   Beautiful restaurant - menu options were nice. Took us one hour to get two pizzas, that sat on the pickup window for 15 minutes (we watched it wondering if it was ours). By the time the waiter actually brought it over, it was room temperature. The response to making another one was it would take long. We had already waited an hour for it, so waiting longer wasn’t enticing. The manager did end up comping our meal but it was a very disappointing night and first dinner to the trip. Lack of attentive service by waiter combined with Luke warm pizza = not great. My advice is to get a food runner so food comes out piping hot!

   Our waitress was nice but I believe she had too many tables to cover and therefore the niceties were lost! We ordered a wedge salad, which was very good, but they delivered our salad to another table and therefore had to wait forever to get ours. The pizza was good, but the burrata on top was cold. The steak was more like a piece of fajita meat. The ambience is very nice. They just have to work out some kinks!

   We had a nice meal, the food was well prepared and the restaurant was very nice. There was an odd dealing with our waiter who was very nice but seemed to disappear for long stretches and when we ordered wine, he came back a while later with the bottle already uncorked And poured a tasting for one and then put the bottle down on the table and didn’t pour it Not the end of the world by any means Just strange at a pricey high end restaurant.

    Nice meal here at Edwin - part of Alpenrock Curio collection hotel. After a long ski day we went for more casual date - lots of salads - White Caesar was excellent!- soups (yummy squash soup and hearty elk chili ) we split two pizzas including Fire on the Mountain and a special duck confit with taleggio cheese - I found that a little bit sweet for my liking. The pizzas were made in a special oven but probably not hot enough- the dough could have used a little more time so I’m sure you can ask for that. Decor is alpine mid century - lots of seating and they can easily take a larger party. Worth a drive up to check out
